Fire southern food blacklist those employees that are the clear problems. It may not be the management itself but the problem people just re apply with the new contract
Rare chicken is usually on the menu
People get bugs with the salad
Bread comes with mold
Parking lot smells like weed
Rarely has clean silverware
gets shut down at least once a month

Excellent people was very respectful and the dining staff, especially the chef master provided us a tour and welcomed us to his facility. Excellent food no waiting.

This place is God awful. I guess I’ll start with the fact that there’s usually no silverware, the food there is usually awful, I got food poisoning from there today. And the workers act like they don’t want to work there, service is usually slow including the dish washers, the tray carousel is always too full which makes it take forever to leave. And I could go on

Place is absolutely dislikable. Don’t be fooled by its looks or photos. Sometimes occasionally there is workers who actually try to do their best. Some of them can’t even wash damn forks or silverware in general. Might as well bring your own fork at this point. Food can be raw at points too. I’ve had raw chicken at one point. Went to sick call for food poison but whatever ig. This place needs a make over too. Some of the oven and furniture have dust on it when you look at the kitchen, sinks, or even workers eating on the job. I get it, you work here. But at least try. Just try. Weekends do slap though. Feel as though only weekends actually have better food then throughout the week. ♂️

The food is usually undercooked, and there is never enough food. The last few platoons are left with the scraps of whatever is left behind by the other platoons. They are always running out of silverware, and the drink machines rarely have what they’re supposed to. I could go on, but I won’t because this is pissing me off just thinking about it.

Boy oh boy! I love the DFAC! I don’t have a choice in the matter. The food is a solid 5/10, but after a while, you become so damn hungry all day, every day, that it is a surefire Nine dime by week four!
The service? Excellent. I respect all of our servers and the brave men and women who have to watch full plates of uneaten food go in the trash (scoundrel soldiers) and I give a uniform greeting to them all with a haughty voice.
BUT THE ATMOSPHERE? TO DIE FOR! I LOVE NOT HAVING ENOUGH TIME TO EAT! “TASTE ISN’T NECESSARY, NUTRITION IS MANDATORY!”

Well I can only comment on what it was like 10 years ago. Every morning chow. 7:00. I’d eat scrambled eggs smothered with gravy ,cheese, and hot sauce. Then 3 pieces of French toast. 3 hash browns Followed by 2 smart start cereals with chocolate milk. 1 cup of coffee. And that was the best food I had for breakfast anywhere. Everything else wasn’t as memorable. Wednesdays i think we’d have lobster or seafood. I always opted for troop store food after breakfast or the gut truck on Saturdays. Possibly Charleys for lunch. But breakfast was always a must.

Had Thanksgiving lunch here. Nice variety of hot food items. Wish they had more out for desserts. No soda at this DFAC. Also didn’t see any dressing but the prime rib and Turkey was really good. They had a wide selection of meats a d sides. Plenty of space here too. Just beware that you will run into large lines due to this being a training installation. The staff allowed non-AIT soldiers and family members go around the long lines though.
