I can tell you that I am amazed! This is one of the best if not the best seafood places I’ve been to I ordered the 3 fish 3 shrimp 3 stuffed shrimp combo served with 2 sides and added on 2 crab cakes to try them out let me tell you this breaks the scale best seafood I’ve had and there home made stuffed shrimp staff was very friendly and very patient with me inside was clean and the smell hits you once you walk in that how you know it’s delicious food we Weill definitely be back for more! Very much recommended!

Upon our arrival at Sam’s Southern Eatery, the place was nicely designed on the interior. The menu is not very specific on the types of fried
seafood that are offered. The shrimp batter was severly underwhelming in flavor. I was expecting some delicious fried catfish, all while receiving some tough, under seasoned white fish that was also very underwhelming in flavor. The hushpuppies seemed to be a bit overcooked, and the red beans and rice were lacking that Southern touch that was well-needed. Overall I was highly unimpressed, where is the Southern charm at this place?

Great first time experience. I ordered the fish and shrimp and it was PERFECT Nice jumbo shrimp with the perfect seasoning as well as the fish. Fries even tasted great. Definitely have to go back and try the rest of the menu

Everytime we go to Louisiana, we look for a Sam’s Southern Eatery! Our server was so polite and kind. Thank you! They make the best fried shrimp poboy ( I should know. I’ve tried many places☺️) The tarter sauce is the best with just the slightest cajun kick! And even though I don’t, ususally, eat fries – I love theirs dipped in the tarter sauce or alone My husband ate the 2 fish and 2 shrimp Check out the size of the shrimp thumbs

One of the go-to places when we want to get take-out. Yea it’s kind of run down looking but the Fried catfish and shrimp are good. Hot wings are good. Their burgers are good. Fries are good. Try the Cajun tartar sauce if you like Cajun flavor and tartar sauce. They also usually have cakes and cheesecake sometimes (tho the cheesecakes might be the other location). The cakes and cheesecake are also delicious.
Sad to not be able to get some of this when my family and I pack it up and leave in a couple months. Thanks for always being good to us Sam’s Southern Eatery.
