This is the only place I or my mother will eat Chinese carry out. All other places are rude and disrespectful. This place has always been courteous, kind, respectful and will hold conversation as best she can while you wait for your food to be cooked fresh! Her shrimp are never dusty tasting or crumbly..I have only ever had 1 wrong order in 5 years of periodically visiting this place and that was just recently but she personally fixed the issue immediately with no fuss and apologized for the mishap. She didn’t make me feel bad for pointing out the mistake and I was apologizing for the mistake even happening. I would recommend this place to everyone. I drive from Schenectady to burnt hills whenever I crave an egg roll or shrimp fried rice because the food, service and appreciation they show for your money is evident!. I love this spot, try it before she retires, she mention she’s getting a little tired… This spot is top notch for your money, fresh food, courtesy and respect.

Food was ready & hot. The food was just not good. The wontons in the soup had tough meat & it seemed mostly chicken. My lo mein & fried rice and my wife’s sweet & sour chicken & her fried rice were bland, not much taste here.

We probably eat there once a week. They never fail to please. Portions are Generous – best pork fried rice ever, big chunks of pork… warning:the pan fried dumplings are Addictive lol – my guy asks for HOT Kung bo, and actually gets it (so many places won’t) and they are the most hard working, kind people. When I need a food comfort hug, it’s Sam’s for me. ❤️

I’ve gone to Sam’s few times and each time everything is delicious! The staff is very friendly and we didn’t wait long for anything. They make one of the best egg rolls I’ve ever had and the portion size of the combination platter is more than I could ask for! If you’re looking for a sit down or even to go Chinese restaurant it’s worth checking out.

The food was terrible. The fried rice was so greasy it leaked through my plate the steam dumplings dough was gummy, the meat didnt taste like pork and chives with soices.they tasted exactly like plain ground turkey. The sauce that went with the dumplings had hardly no garlic taste and mostly vinegar flavor.i can say it was the worst Authentic Chinese food I have ever had. The place had k ow one in at 7pm on a Saturday night, literally no cars in the parking lot. This was the 1st and DEFINITELY THE LAST TIME I will ever get food there . Not to mention I dont believe that they make there own dumplings. VERY Disappointed.

SO GREASY. The eggrolls were…too big? Like everything inside of them was TOO BIG, and crunchy, and weird. I love eggrolls, but not these guys. Nope.

I actually live in Schenectady, and the places I normally went to really didn’t fare well anymore, worth the drive to Burnt Hills for their food!

One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve experienced. I was introduced to Sam’s during COVID so I’ve never dined in but it’s a proper sit down place. I’ve only ever gotten takeout and we usually order $75+ each time, and the folks at Sam’s throw in a few surprises as a “thank you.” I’ve tried tons of different dishes and they’re all great – their pork fried rice is probably the best I’ve ever had and it’s not greasy at all.

Some of the food in the sampler was raw and other part over seasoned. I recommend the bar and fried rice.
