On this visit, I had the special which was the Octoberfeast. Bratwurst, black forest ham, sauerkraut, Dijonaise, on a pretzel bun. I would have made this, but it was great! Everything I ever got here was great!
Edit: Today, 3-14-25, I had the Italian sub. It was awesome!
Update: 7-25-25 Still great! Today I had the Muffaletta Sub. While not the traditional sandwich it was really good!!!
Update: 9-30-25 Had the Italian sandwich again today. Added Japalenos and banana peppers at the table. Yes it was fantastic! Always is!
Update: February 13th 2026 I had the Brooklyn meatball sub. It was great! Everything I have had from Sammy’s has been great! If you have not been you need to go!

I had a baked potato and the Mediterranean wrap. It was a lot of food! Everything appeared fresh and the food was good.

Ordered for pickup on Doordash; absolutely was not worth it. The vegetables tasted dirty and unwashed, and the pita bread was so caked in flour the sauce may as well not have been there.

Grand slam!! I love this place. Second time here traveling through this part of the state. This isn’t your typical sandwich or sub shop. Sammies has tons of things from wraps to subs to sandwiches (what they call dags, which is short for Dagwood from the Blondie comic strip).
I had the West Coast sub and it was killer good. Great flavor with a ton of meat and excellent bread. Great combination of flavors, team!! I had the baked potato salad for a side and it was loaded with flavor.
Great value with friendly, fast service. You’ll thank me later!

Popped in with part of a volleyball team and coaches and we were greeted, and the staff, except for the young man, seemed happy to have us there. Our order taker was super sweet and made sure she had the orders just right. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious!

Wow! We were super super impressed with the food at Sammies. My wife had a Gyro pita, and I had The Santa Cruz. Both were made to order. The gyro meat was hot and fresh, and the pita was absolutely amazing—warm, fluffy, and tasty. The Santa Cruz was super flavorful.
This was our first experience at Sammies, and now that I’ve tried it, I’d like to just make my way through the menu and sample everything! It was so good. One of the best sandwich shops I’ve ever been to.

I get to Paris, drop her soup off, and on the inside was a ‘GET WELL SOON ‘ note. To the guy (Ben I think) who was working Saturday night- THANK YOU!

Great food! Each of us had a different sub and all three were delicious. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. If you go to Martin it is the place to eat.
