Sorry Ms. Jackson
New in town and was craving some tots. So glad we stumbled upon this place. When I arrived, the atmosphere was very lively, and appeared to be many happy people, sharing company with others, and having an all out good time!

Would definitely return to spend a bit of time here and in the surrounding area as it did give me a sense that it’s a nice area to hang out around.

Nice little bar in downtown Charlotte. We were visiting from Michigan – the bartender was a wealth of knowledge and told us where to go for shopping and food. I had a tasty espresso martini while my husband enjoyed a local beer.

Good vibes, good bartenders, and good food. Little pricey than I would’ve guessed but it’s a bar in downtown so it’s to be expected.

Only complaint is we asked for our wings “extra crispy” but they were just cooked normally. The wings were delicious though, tasted like they were smoked then fried or something.

Definitely not my cup of tea. Loud blaring music with cussing. Bartender wasn’t rude but not warm. Could have been the time of day I came, which was just for the food. I got take out, it was REALLY good and did enjoy my food when I got home. I’d be willing try it again for the food but maybe different time of day.
Parking was awful…..

Good food and good vibes. Great Guinness pour. Not too expensive and hits all the comfort food items as well as some healthier items. Great place to enjoy a game while listening to a DJ. Staff has excellent culture as well. Recommend if you are in midtown Charlotte.

10/10 would embarrass myself here again!

If you want a place in Charlotte where locals, tourists, and probably minor celebrities all collide over drinks and bar bites, The Local nails it. The vibe feels like your living room…. if your living room had a DJ, a dozen flat screens, and way cooler people than you usually invite over. I

This is the kind of spot where you come for one beer, suddenly it’s karaoke night, and next thing you know you’re passionately singing to strangers who cheer like you’re on tour.

I’ve come in a couple of times for the hornets games and I’ve always enjoyed the atmosphere and the personable nature of the bartenders.
Bri is one of the most down to earth people I’ve been able to meet and is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve come across! I will be coming back for her conversations alone.

Wow! First time and on a Monday. From the time I walked in it was a vibe. The music was 100% fantastic the entire time. The food was even better. We had wings, steak sandwich and fries. I cant wait to come back!

Wandered into this hip bar while walking in uptown. It was pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon. It’s more of a hip dive bar. Small space, so people are pretty close to each other whether you like it or not. They offer a variety of drink specials along with the normal beer, wine, and alcohol selections. They have a few tables inside, but you are mainly just standing. They do have bouncers at the door that check ID when you arrive. They do have outside seating as well for the warmer weather. It’s definitely more of a casual vibe and wouldn’t mind coming back. This is located in uptown, so of course parking can be hassle unless you just uber.
