Stopped thru here while on the Trolley Pub celebrating a friend’s birthday. We ordered the wings, and they were pretty good. Nice and small just the way we like them. Not those big steroid wings from other places. We went back for lunch a few days later, and we ordered the wings and Nachos this time. Yummy again. You’ll have to park in the garage and do a little walking, so make a date out of it and enjoy uptown. Or do what we did when we went back the 2nd time, one person makes the rounds around the block while the other person jumps out and picks up the order.

Great little spot with patio seating, damn good food and they have Miller High Life – opted for the spaghetti sandwich which they should toast and butter and garlic powder the bun to take this to next level

Cool spot downtown! Very welcoming and friendly service. 10/10 would visit again! Next time I will have to buy the bartenders a shot.

Could not have asked for a better place to stumble upon. Staff were friendly and super accommodating. We were stranded, due to airport fails and the staff allowed us to settle in and even stay after close to allow our ride to arrive. We are most grateful for the hospitality. Thanks again. We will definitely return when in the area.

Good food, good looking bartenders, and good music. Nice place to stop in for dinner and a drink before hitting a show downtown

Love PNC Pavilion for concert venues! This is one of my favorite spots for concerts, and they usually have amazing artist. First time was Keith Urban, then recently I saw Halsey, Backstreetboys and Shania Twain a week ago! Looking forward to Matchbox 20 next and 3 Doors Down!

The Local offers a hometown bar feel in the heart of the city. I liked the high top tables and it was nice out when we visited so they had the garage doors open. We were here on a Friday afternoon so it wasn’t busy, but it was a little bit of a struggle to get our drink orders. There were only two bar tenders and they stayed behind the bar. We did not get food and continued our walk through downtown.

Out of all the places my wife and I visited in Charlotte, this was our favorite stop. Fun staff, friendly local people, and great food. $2 tacos on Tuesday (which is a crazy good deal in a major metropolitan area) that were absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and swing by!
