Its Chingee
This was my first time trying Samiflorencia and I can’t wait to go back. We came an hour before closing and decided to dine in and everyone was so nice. From the moment we sat down we were greeted with hot vegetable soup that was perfect for the weather. For our main course we had egusi with fufu and the chicken with jollof rice. 10/10 no complaints, the best egusi I’ve had in the city. Also, everything came with a pepper sauce that we had to make sure we took an extra to go. Even though we came at the end of the night everything was still fresh, hot, and delicious. Will definitely be returning customers.

I lovedddd the Egusi & FuFu! Soooo good! I’ll definitely be back. The wings could’ve been cooked a lil longer but they still had a good flavor. The fried rice had sautéed veggies with a sauce on it that I wish my rice had more of. The customer service was amazing and the home feel and clean atmosphere of the restaurant made us enjoy the whole experience even more.

SOO GOOD LITERALLY NO NOTES. Super clean and nice restaurant, great service (timely and have complimentary soup), and the food was too good. My mom is a picky eater but I brought back some leftovers and she cleared it. We tried the Ayamase and seafood Okra soup!

Best egusi around! Comes with 2 fufu and meat already. Food tastes like it’s made with love, been hooked since my first purchase!

Samiflorencia African Cuisine is an absolute Amazing. The combination of the flavorful, aromatic rice and the juicy, tender shrimp was pure culinary bliss. It was a dish that was both comforting and exciting, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Samiflorencia African Cuisine not only serves amazing food but also provides an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, delicious African cuisine.

I ordered takeout recently and was incredibly impressed! I tried the Jollof Rice with Chicken and the Fufu with Egusi, and both were absolutely wonderful. The Jollof Rice had a deep, smoky, and spicy flavor that was perfectly balanced and truly authentic. The portion of chicken was generous, tender, and beautifully seasoned. The Fufu was soft and fresh, and the Egusi was rich and savory, with tender pieces of turkey falling right off the bone. The food traveled well and was still hot when I got home. Even though I ordered takeout, the staff and server were amazing, friendly, efficient, and ensured my order was correct and ready on time.
I highly recommend [Restaurant Name] for authentic, flavorful West African cuisine and top-notch customer service!

Ok so I haven’t been inside yet, I ordered Uber Eats and it is pricey ok but when I tell you once I took a sip of that goat pepper soup I would have paid more!!! Now don’t go raising prices auntie cuz I don’t got it but if I did I’d pay it ok! I ordered the goat pepper soup, jollof rice, and ginger pineapple juice. I had been sick and not tasted or smelled a thing but I tasted every single flavor in that soup and it brought me to life! Love love loved every bite and I’m so happy I ordered I don’t give a damn about that $$

Worst Engusi I’ve ever tasted. Lacking flavor!! I tasted no curry no ginger. It was served with scotch bonnet sauce on the side. This place is a ucking rip off!! Then charging 30 dollars!! They are sick out of their mind! I went there because I was on the south side. If you really want a taste of home or a taste of true flavored African food then take that ride to Mukase they have one in Chicago and bolingbrook! Flavor is intense! Very upset I went there! Nice people at this but horrible food! And I mean horrible.

This was a genuine and great experience, the owner was so sweet and accommodating. For this being my first time trying African cuisine, I can definitely say this was the best way it could have gone! The portion sizes were great, we had ordered one fufu and egusi soup, jollof rice, and smoke wings, this fed three people!!!! Very affordable and great environment overall. Would recommend.
