I love the food at Popeyes and often find myself craving that slightly salty and buttery biscuit, however, it is a big turn off that the employees in the Brookhaven one DON’T WEAR GLOVES. I’ve seen it multiple times where they are scooping fries and chicken and practically touching food with their bare hands. I worked in fast food for 5 years and that was a big no no.

The food took 15 minutes to cook and only Omar understood English. He seemed to be doing a little of everything. I asked for an 8 piece spicy chicken bundle and I was given the classic chicken. I am glad that we decided to eat there because I surely would have been disappointed with my order.

The food is decent but the WAIT. We placed an order online and arrived to the restaurant. No one was in the drive thru before or after us when we just arrived. They gave us our drinks and told us to get off the drive thru line and to wait at a stop sign. (I assume that was to make their time stats seem better). I timed them because I had a feeling it will be long. There were 6 cars (I also counted) that arrived and left with their food before we got ours. It was exactly 20 minutes before I reversed my car into the driveway and got our food. The drive thru attendant did not say a word(no joke). She did not apologize or confirm my name. And they didn’t come out of the restaurant to give the food like she said they would. On top of that. They did not give us our sauces that we ordered and there were no utensils in our bag. 1/10

This USED to be a great store spot, but now they can’t handle a drive through and make you park and wait after you order and pay, even with no line.
HIRE MORE PEOPLE or better people if you can’t support a drive through at your FAST food restaurant.

The customer service is horrible, when you request management to address your issue, he is very rude and walks away to leave other staff to address the matter. The Franchise owner should deal with this before it affects overall store performance further.
