Opened in 1995, Sam Diego’s is located directly on Main Street in “America’s Hometown” of Plymouth, MA, in the historic Station One Firehouse, just “A Block from the Rock”. Independently owned, our Mexican Cookery & Bar offers an outdoor patio, and an interior of old brick wall and beautiful Mahogany woodwork featuring a dramatic staircase leading to a second floor level. We offer award-winning Mexican and Tex-Mex selections, Southwestern specialties, Bar-be-Que, Salads, SAMwiches and SAMburgers. Plus, we offer a big “Young Juan’s” menu for the kids. I love coming here, the place has a great atmosphere and tons of seating. I always get the enchilada plate, all three types are great, the chicken is my favorite. I’d also recommend you get a Bay Breeze, wicked sweet but so good.

They are closed on Mondays but fortunately it was Patriots day so they were open that Monday. The service was ok could’ve been better since it wasn’t that busy at that time of the day. Ordered a couple skinny Margaritas. They were really strong but good. The kids menu stuff was good for the kiddos. They regular menu is ok, typically non authentic Mexican restaurant menu. Order a sample platter. Nothing to write home about but it was good enough for a lunch. I may give then another try, if I find myself in that area again.

This food is the Best closest Tex Mex Food I’ve ever had outside of being in Mexico. Every time were in the cape, it’s a must stop.service is great, prices are great, the place overall is very clean for the amount of people that eat here. Love the decor. The bar is a nice if you have too wait. Bathrooms are clean . souvenir shop, nice touch, I’ve got a hat and a shirt. Plenty of parking, plus handicapped parking spots. In front. We went here tonight for my wife’s birthday. We were a party of 8 who made reservations. I had to move my reservation up to 8:30 from 8PM. The restaurant was complete accomodating to us with this request. The food was good and brought without any issues what so ever. The waitress and hostess were both very friendly as well. We even brought in a birthday cake which they brought out to us while joining us in singing happy birthday. I would recommend this place.

Love Sam Diego’s! Been coming to this location since I was little. My favorite is the fried ice cream with extra hot fudge. Getting my very last one in tonight.

don’t know how this place is still in business, I’ve eaten at restaurants that have given me food poisoning that serve tastier food than this place. My beef burrito had no beef or rice or any ingredients besides beans with a side of beans. The nachos you guessed it, all beans. my fiancees food had 0 seasoning on it. The manager even joked that the beer is the only good thing they have because they don’t make it. We did not pay for our meal as it was inedible. Server was on point though.

Sam Diego’s was an exceptional place to out and eat at. The waitress told me that the restaurant’s building was originally a fire station! The ambiance was exceptional. The chips and salsa that they give are freshly baked. The service was very fast. The quesadillas were very tasty. The portion sizes were on the larger size. I highly recommend it to people who love authentic Mexican food!
