Social Profile:

A local favorite that originally started as a small deli & pizzeria in Montebello at Washington and Montebello Blvd. The success of our family business was exclusively by word-of-mouth with good, honest Italian cooking from the south of Italy. Today, our food is still as good as it was when we first opened to the public–by word of mouth–but closer to you by way of the internet. Our menu includes lasagna, manicotti, cannelloni, eggplant parmigiana, many chicken dishes, specialty pasta dishes, steaks, and seafood. Don’t forget about our pizza, calzone, and sandwiches! Our motto is, who eats well, lives well. Enjoy. Joe & Anthony, owners.

Family-owned eatery serving Italian favorites amid a casual ambiance & banquet-style booths.

A hidden taste of fabulous food. This is a real taste of fine Italian dishes. The shrimp and chicken fettuccine, salad and bread was a excellent dinner, yet the coffee and the cheese cake just made this meal satisfying and complete

Old school Italian spot. Parking is tight and food is alright. Food was warm but not piping hot. I hate to say this because my taste buds are giving basic, but Olive Garden better tbh.

Salvatore’s is a true Italian restaurant. All their food is fresh, no matter what you order. It’s delicious. The atmosphere is relaxing especially if you go toward the evening, they have a piano player, not sure if he’s there everyday. The staff is very nice professional and accommodating. There is street parking and also public on-site parking. My four stars is only for the prices, they are a bit high ish.

I’m a regular of this restaurant and I can tell you the food of delicious, and service is great. I prefer Saturday nights, when they have a piano player, and if you are lucky you might hear one of the waiters sing for the crowd. My favorite dish is the Mediterranean pizza, and the spinach lasagne. Plenty of parking literally all around the restaurant. All the staff treat us right, specially Edwin!

Second time here – Staff was very nice and welcoming. Food was so good and portions were big. They start you off with bread and bruschetta, which can be a meal within itself. But then I got the spaghetti with meatballs. Simple but delicious!

This place is off of Whittier Blvd. You can’t see it from the main drag, but it’s worth a visit. The service is excellent and quick. My friend and I shared an appetizer sampler. It was run of the mill, nothing spectacular, except the marinera sauce was delicious. They brought us garlic bread and some marinated tomatoes to enjoy. The garlic bread was somewhat dry and the tomatoes could have used more vinegar. When our food came I sampled my friend’s dish which was shrimp and fettuccini. Nothing spectacular, just basic good food. I ordered risotto. It was a little salty for my taste, but had good flavor and good texture. It would have been nice if it had been served with sausage. The highlight of the dinner was dessert. We shared a spumoni slice of pie. It was amazing. Just enough crunch to offset the smoothness of the ice cream. I will come back to this place, just for the pie. It was a good place to eat if you are a local and going through the area. It’s also a good date spot. The food was decent. I didn’t give it 5 stars because there were some things that could have been improved. I recently went back and discovered their stuffed pasta shells. Best thing I’ve had there so far. It was so good I went back a second time for the same dish. I really loved the caesar salad. A little more tart than other caesar salads, but thats what made it special.

At time have ordered take out. They often don’t make mistakes on my order but just recently they did. They forgot the chicken in the chicken parmigiana. I contacted them and was surprised they professionally gave me my missing chicken and a side of canololi they surely made my day.

We really enjoyed your restaurant. We were a party of 50 in your banquet room. Staff was very professional and helpful. Food was just good. Could have been served warmer. I had just had a knee replacement and the staff took such good care of me.
