A charming small town restaurant on the main street of Eagles Nest New Mexico. Our family has eaten here plenty of time over the years. We love the atmosphere the food and the staff are always friendly. This restaurant has a full bar with plenty of spirits to choose from.

We are in town for a conference at Philmont in Cimmaron, and we were looking for food near by. We drive over to Eagle’s Nest, and most of the places in town were closed. This place looked like a hole in the wall, but it had a kitchen open sign outside.
Once we got in, the bartender was extremely friendly, and she sat us with menus immediately.
I got a “build your own burger”, and the burger was excellent. The fries were slightly undercooked, and the soda was a bit flat. The two people with me got a burger and green chili chicken enchiladas. Both said theirs tasted great and the food was fresh.
We would definitely come back again.

Had the chicken tenders, they were probably the best I’ve ever had! Unfortunately I hate the smell of smoke and it seemed like you couldn’t escape it inside or out.

We were starving and had a burger and country fried steak. The lady who waited on us was probably the best service we have had our whole trip. We like this little town and use it as a hub.

Been here twice. Bartender never smiled – just looked sour. No personality.
Sat at bar for 30min before someone told me I had to get up and stand in a line for another 30min to order a beer and food. Of course someone took my seat in the meantime. Sign specifying the order spot is not visible from the entrance.
Chicken strips and jalepeno poppers were very good, though.
