The crunchy crab roll was really tasty. We also tried the eel avacado roll and that was nice. I definitely recommend getting their sushi burrito meals as well, tasted super fresh.
The lunch special prices were very affordable for the quality you get.

This place was alright. For dinner for two we ordered two miso soups, seaweed salad, 2 rolls and two specialty rolls. The two rolls (spicy crunchy salmon/tuna) were not really spicy and the rice on the outside of the roll was quite sparse. The two specialty rolls were good. Service was very fast. A little bit pricey. If you’re craving sushi you should go but this place isn’t spectacular.

This is hands down the best sushi place in the area. I don’t know how more people don’t know about it! Might be because it’s somewhat tucked away but it is easy to find. Whether dining in or take out I’ve never had a bad meal here. The tuna dumplings are ADDICTIVE. Also love the udon and the sushi burritos. Presentation is well done and food is great. It’s also nice and quiet which I love. Truly a gem. I think it shines in particular as a date spot.

It’s my first time here. I ordered tuna dumplings, soft shell crab roll, eel temp mango roll, spicy maki combo, and spicy cru tuna roll. Everything was fresh and delicious. Great service, friendly staff. The atmosphere is good and comfortable. I like the decor inside the restaurant as well. I’ll definitely come back again to try other food.

FUKU Japanese Sushi is the go-to spot around the Holmdel and Hazlet area. Kevin and his son Andy are incredibly welcoming and make you feel like family the moment you walk in. The food is outstanding. Awesome family-owned restaurant that’s well worth the visit.

Came here for a birthday celebration with a party of 14. Didn’t expect the quality of sushi and the cooked Thai Food is on par if not better than those in Woodside, Queens. We order the Uni Shooter (good, but would be better chilled). Shared for the table included Salmon Tartare, Sushi & Sashimi and the Spicy Roll Combo, Pineapple Fried Rice, Green Curry with Chicken, Scallops/Ika/Ikura Sushi and a Beef Teriyaki Bento Box. It’s a BYOB restaurant w/o cork fee (which we appreciate). With an extensive menu with both the Japanese and Thai food, both executed well. A gem of a spot where there is sure to be something for everything to enjoy.

Excellent menu options, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Mango chicken lunch special was very tasty, $1 extra for brown rice. Friends got other lunch dishes and all very happy,including a Pad Thai rave from one of our more picky buds. Ordered a ‘Christmas Lights Roll’ for the table that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Hot tea also very good. Lots of parking and a very convenient location to my office. We’ll certainly be back.
