I had an amazing experience during my recent visit to Salem’s Fresh Eats, thanks to the incredible Tree, who truly went above and beyond. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and genuine kindness that instantly made me feel welcome.
Not only did she take the time to answer my questions about the menu, but she also made sure my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it. What really stood out was her attention to detail and her positive attitude — she checked on me while I waited, made sure I had everything I needed, and even offered helpful suggestions for next time.

I got the scallops, oysters and a piece of strawberry cheesecake. All very fresh and delicious. Service was good with friendly people and they had a clean well lit space. My first time here and I know I’ll be back.

My first time here was okay experience. Came in for lunch while on a business trip. I originally ordered the classic gyro (which is a favorite meal of mine) and a side of the grilled shrimp. The gyro Tzatziki sauce tasted like sour cream instead or traditional Tzatziki. So I traded in my gyro for fried shrimp. The young lady at the counter was polite and exchanged my meal with ease. The shrimp was delicious and the atmosphere is relaxed glad I sat in and ate lunch there. Will definitely visit again if in St. Petersburg.

We typically visit a different location, but this location was convenient. We love their bogo shakes and they are usually thick and tasty. For this location our shakes were slightly runny. Because we eat at Salem’s a lot, we know this was just a ‘one off’ experience. But other than that, everything was perfect! I do highly recommend the fried shrimp plate. They never miss a beat…perfectly seasoned…perfectly cooked every single time we order them!

Hometown favorite spot and never skips a beat. Whatever your late night craving is here in the south they have it well seasoned and portioned to feed you and a neighbor. This is literally my first choice when I visit the Tampa Bay area. You must try the fried shrimp!

The cool and unique outside of the building caught my eye. So I was here last night and the staff was cool although there English isn’t the best they did great! While I’m not muslim it’s cool that they have halal food and I going out that they close at 4 am which is even cooler!!! Also they had the best strawberry shake I’ve ever had. So if I’m ever in the St. Pete area ever again I’d be sure to check em out again

Customer service is on point! Shout out to Ced for helping an elderly woman get to her car with her food. That was such a kind, loving, and respectable act. He was gentle and patient with her. It really warmed my heart because there are not many gentleman like him around. Please give Ced a RAISE. Also my food was pretty good.

The reason I had a bad experience at this location only is because the female staff member working at the counter was extremely ignorant and almost acted like me getting help. When I approached, the counter was an inconvenience to the nothing. That she was doing, and when I told her the name of the customer whose order I was there to pick up to deliver it. She walked away after I told her. And then neglected to let me know when the order was ready. So it was just sitting there behind the counter Instead of letting me know when it was ready, even though she was standing right there. Eventually, the supervisor or manager had asked me if I was there for a pickup and got the order out for me.So I could take it. People that work at the counter like that though, and then act, that kind of way make me never want to come back here again.
