A decent place for sushi, I was happy. I found pricing to be reasonable. Plenty of cooked items on the menu. Standard seating, with limited seating at the sushi bar. Very polite staff. Not the full range of sushi options like big city sushi joints. Free parking.

This is a wonderful little shop! The art and decorations really create a lovely atmosphere. Plus, the food was great. We ordered several different rolls of sushi as well as a few other things, and everything tasted superb. 10/10 would recommend.

Just ordered lunch… steak and chicken hibachi. Got home. Only steak. Glad I sprung for the extra protein only to not get it. We used to really like this place and it has just gone downhill. We won’t be going back. Oh and a default 18% for tip on an online takeout order? Get outta here.

I ordered a Thai tea not realizing it had bubble stuff in it. I told them I wanted actual Thai tea. I’ve been to hundreds of restaurants serving Thai tea, and never had bubbles in it. So she was very adamant that she was charging me for the drink regardless and had no customer service skills. She never even smiled the whole time since we got there. It seemed like she was annoyed she had to wait on people. And the chicken for the chicken fried rice was very dry. No vegetables or anything just looked like a plate of rice with hardly any chicken

I got the 3 combination for habachi and they gave me very small amounts of each yet I can go to aki and get like 10x more food for cheaper. Also their fried rice is garbage. I spent 50 USD and will not be going back.

Ordered spicy salmon bowl today.
I was more concerned about the spicy part, but I was proven wrong!!!!!

Sooooo…..very tiny portion.
For the comparison purpose, I placed my car key.
BTW, I couldn’t finish the sushi rice because it was way too vinegary.
On the plus note, miso soup ($3) was average.

Extremely overpriced for what it is, were it half the price I would review it less harshly. But, considering the price: the sushi rice is a weak approximation of what it should be, the teriyaki shrimp dinner is subpar and the chirashi sushi an embarrassment. Also, there was little to no eel in the eel and cucumber roll. It might be that there isn’t any competition in the area, because this place wouldn’t last a month in NYC or a day in Tokyo.

First of all I LOVE Sakura, especially their hibachi meals. Usually their sushi is wonderful but my last few orders of sushi that contained avocado (though, edible) they weren’t in the best of shape or the ripest. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever received in this world but I like a fresh avocado. Will I still go back? Of course, things happen. If I had more time I would have taken the sushi back to order something else but I’ll just remove the avacado this time.
