I eat here often. The food is consistently excellent and it is not all that expensive. Renovations around six years ago yielded a more modern space with a nice bar area. I’ve only sat once at the grill tables and it was a fun experience. Be prepared for a show! Dress here is decidedly casual, which reflects the restaurant’s location in a strip mall.

The hibachi chef was good but the service overall was trash. We were told we’d have to pay extra 5$ is we try to feed our toddlers from our plate. Or we can just buy them some fries for 5$ and then we won’t have to pay. Since when do parents have to pay extra to feed their kids from their own plate. Not like it’s a buffet. Never again! Go somewhere else people !

Average food, terrible service. The restaurant was basically empty, so a lot of the staff was standing around watching me and my friend eat our food. The only time they came to check on us was to essentially rush into leaving their empty restaurant. One of the waitresses came up to my friend after she had given him a to-go box and said “is everything okay”’and started putting the food away for him. Keep in mind, we had a full bottle of sake left that we were taking our time finishing. We asked her to give us a moment as we weren’t done eating. Then she brings the check while my friend is in the bathroom, comes to pick it up before my friend can sign for it and gives it back to me saying “excuse me, gratuity is not included.” We hadn’t even gotten a chance to sign for the check yet, let alone leave gratuity. Right after we signed (while we’re still drinking!!) she picks up the check and opens it to see the tip we left her. Very uncomfortable. And the salmon tartar was disgusting.

The hibachi chef was nice and friendly, but the waitresses argued when there was a miscommunication about our order. And they give little to no effort to the customers making it seem like a chore to even take our order.

If i could rate 0 stars, i would. Let me just start off by saying I walked into the restaurant and was not greeted for 2 minutes. When the lady finally came up to me, she had an attitude and was very rude. I asked to sit in a different location of the restaurant and she said “no” before I could even finish speaking my sentence. She proceeded to cut me off and day “no one is sitting there in that room” when my boyfriend literally checked and saw a bunch of people at different tables in that room. Once we sat down, we didn’t even have any time to look at the menu and the server came up and said “anything to drink?” There was no sort of introduction or greeting to me and my boyfriend. We asked for more time to see the menu but proceeded to say “ a water, seltzer, and ice tea.” I waited 20 minutes for a simple glass of water and i had to ask 2 times. Ridiculous. Continuing on, no one checked on us throughout our meal and we had to continually ask for assistance and even then, the servers would ignore us and walk past us with no type of acknowledgment. The food was not that great either- i’d rate it 2.5 stars. I asked for extra condiments and i was given a look like I wasn’t allowed to ask for something else that I needed. Then I waited 5 minutes for some spicy mayo. Overall, my experience here was horrible and would NOT recommend this place to anyone that enjoys eating sushi or just simply going out to enjoy a meal. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.

DO NOT GO HERE!! bad place. Food is INEDIBLE. Ordered California roll sushi, chicken fried rice and ginger house salad. The Sushi presentation was very pretty, but the taste was horrid. It was HOT and chewy. tasted sour. I picked it apart to see why the crab was chewy and there it is. It was not crab but Imitation crab. When I went to open the rice it smelled of chemicals and oil. I took a bite and it tasted extremely oily and bitter and not like fried rice AT ALL. Was beef instead of chicken. I ordered a ginger house salad, They charged me for it, and they did not give me it. This is all Absolutely unacceptable and not authentic Japanese Cuisine AT ALL. From reading other peoples reviews others overall have had the same upsetting experience.

We had Sushi. Fresh salad before we ate. Delicious. I had Shrimp Tampora Rolls and I was really satisfied. My granddaughter had tuna rolls. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Me and my husband love this place they have amazing rolls our favorite is the fantastic roll and sweet potato roll and their Kani salad is very good too would definitely recommend
