Proper coffee place serving baked treats and snacks. The mocha was good and frothy. Well done. Nice sidewalk tables and chairs outside and in.

Got a cold brew coffee with almond milk, and a salted chocolate caramel cake slice. It was amazing. Not sure if it was because I needed coffee in my body but I drank it so quick! The cake slice was moist and flavorful, really enjoyed it. I also got a vegan peanut butter bar which is always good. Much better than the location in Detroit!

By far, the best coffee ☕️ in the Royal Oak/Ferndale area that I have had yet. Don’t get me wrong, there are some great places here, but this one is my favorite to date.

For all of the places you can get coffee in downtown Ferndale, Red Hook is great for service and prices fairly. Staff is friendly and patient when I have no clue what I want. Treats are variable and taste wonderful. The outdoor seating during the warm months makes it fun to work from the side of 9 Mile.
Keep it up, Red Hook!

One of the best coffee shops I’ve stopped at in a while! They have unique offerings like a charcoal latte (which I got) and the basics as well. The charcoal latte was super creamy and a total delight. They offer vegan and non-vegan baked goods. Vegan ones were awesome. Ginger molasses cookie reminded me of the holidays because of the gingerbread flavor

Delicious lattes and baked goods. Very lucky to have Red Hook so close! I will definitely be returning. They have my filters too!

I’m pretty sure the taller slim woman that generally works the register intentionally put a chemical of some sort in my coffee for reasons that are unclear to me. I’ve visited this location a hand full of times and unfortunately was scarred my last visit. I could taste something was off with the taste of the coffee I ordered. That night I fell sick with food poisoning, it was aweful. This place is a firm PASS!

On the main street in Ferndale, a busy stop. Great to grab a treat and walk around the area. There are a few tables inside but no comfy spots to relax. It was busy this Saturday morning, took about 15 standing in line, but there was a special event in the area. The prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly.

Friendly, engaging, patient, and helpful staff. We were in town visiting for the first time. The special was a beet root (powder) latte with cardamom and ginger. I ordered mine with coconut milk. It was delicious!! (The right amount of sweetness too.) The Superfood cookie was perfect. Not too sweet and with the right amount of ingredients. My husband said the black coffee was good along with the blueberry corn muffin. The chalkboard noted homemade lavender, and cardamom syrups. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back!

The Red Hook makes some of the best lattes, cortados, espressos, and has really good specialty coffee. I always enjoy visiting and highly recommend the Golden Milk Latte for non-coffee drinkers.
