I am so delighted DelTaco is in Port Charlotte, FL. The food is excellent; good portions and well presented. The staff are very pleasant and attentive. DM Crystal and GM Tarra are doing a great job of maintaining a high quality staff and a friendly atmosphere. The counter, kitchen and dining area are clean and nicely appointed. Very comfortable ambience. Will return often.

Absolutely horrible experience. Spent $60 and they literally handed a bag with a few things in it. I had to get them to make all the other items in the order and give them to me. Thank goodness I checked before I left. They times were made wrong and not according to our order. We got a sweet tea and OMG this tea was the worst most rancid smelling thing I have ever smelled. Thank goodness I didn’t drink it. We visited on Sunday, 3/8/2026 around 5pm. The kids working were more interested in dogs coming through the drive through than getting the orders right and checking the quality of their food items.

This location has been on a downward trend since they opened. The portions have gotten much smaller and the service speed has slowed tremendously. There have been multiple times I have waited 20 minutes for food while being the only person in the restaurant. Recommend Tijuana Flats for a better Tex-mex experience and a better value

Discovered a super amazing taco place Del Taco on 41 at Murdock Circle in Port Charlotte. I’ve been there three times in the last month each time I got an amazing guy Todd on register who is fantastic with customer service and they have a great app with with lots of great deals. Todd is awesome helping navigate the app at checkout too. The Del tacos are to die for. Lots of meat with lettuce cheese tomato. Great size portion. Also cool they have french fries and hamburgers with everything else expected at a Mexican fast food restaurant. Super bright and clean restaurant, super fast service. They’re amazing each time I go back. I just find something new to discover each and every visit. Taco deals on Tues and Thurs. Great App. Get it !! Go to this spot !!

The staff greeted me upon arrival and Krystle was very friendly and took care of my order. The food at Del Taco is delicious and more affordable compared to other similar establishments. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. I’d say that you should definitely check it out. You won’t be disappointed!

Worked all day and got off at about 1:30am. I looked to see what was open the night/morning of the 1st of the year. Never tried del taco so I gave it a shot. Anyway, there was a guy and a girl working and they were really polite and everything came out quickly. I had a pretty big order too. I felt bad because it was late. Got home and looked at everything and they packed everything very neatly and the food looked great! They even gave us an extra caramel cheesecake bite. I didn’t hear the girls name but the gentlemans name was Micheal. Nice clean facility, great menu and even better employees.

I’m giving this fast food taco shop five stars. Let me tell you why. I pulled up on Taco Tuesday to a busy drive tru. It was my first time, I was craving street tacos…. I got 2 carne asada tacos, with crinkle cut fries and a customized pineapple poppers sprite drink for $8…. Omgggggg it would rival any taco truck on the street and boba tea shop. I soooo want to try their carne asada burrito next. The staff was patient with me and very helpful when I got up to the check out window. My taco was hot and tasty with cilantro on my smoky grilled steak. There were so many specials and if you download their app you can get more savings.

my wife and I just retired and our down for the winter. we have been here twice weekly for months now. the tacos are fine. the service is always slow. ALWAY out of napkins and or sauces by the drink stand, ALWAYS. also my wife says the women’s restroom has no hooks for women to hang their purses on. we always go inside and it seems the priority is always DRIVE THRU and we have to wait for someone to come to the front counter so we can order. also the plastic utensils really should be in a dispenser so they are clean and everyone isnt touching them while they try to pull 1 out. onsite parking is very limited.
