Great value. We went for a late lunch and only spent $30 for 3 people!! We were given choice of soup, a side appetizers, and a entree with rice for only $10. Food was very good too. Much better than other places in the area that serve similar cuisine. Along with the great value for food they had beers for like $3.50 I havnt seen prices like that in 20 years. Service was great! Server was spot on with everything and very prompt and attentive. Food came out quick and HOT. Not much to complain about!

I’m not a person to typically leave a bad review but… here we are.

Really disappointed with our last few visits- and today sorta sealed it as a “we won’t go back.” Every time we visit it gets worse and worse. Take out or dine in, it doesn’t matter.

Today- The sign out front is what got us to stop- we saw a buffet being advertised for $7.95. When we got inside we asked the waitress about the buffet, and she pointed to a menu that typically refers to meals being 12.95. So, we ordered per her instruction.

We got our drinks- and tasted some kind of chemically lemon. Not sure what the taste was, we asked for a new drink- I asked for clarity if there was lemon in the water somehow, and they said no- this matters since my husband is allergic to lemon. Replacement waters were brought back out, but the water still tasted off- we got a coke instead, and the syrup must have needed replacing because it was even worse than the chemically lemon flavored water. We sent it back as it was very bitter, and never got a replacement beverage.

My daughter ordered lo main. We have gotten this dish many times before at Sake, and this is the first time we have seen anything like this… it was slimy and did not resemble what we normally get from this restaurant in any way. There were no noodles at all, it looked like bean sprouts cabbage and chicken. The waitress assured us this was chicken lo main. In a way I’m kind of glad that the waitress brought me rice noodles, and not the chicken lo main I ordered for myself… there was something wrong with each of our orders.

When I got the check- we were not charged what was advertised, but instead 12.95$ for the meal that should have been 7.95$ per what the waitress explained.

I tried to explain this to the waitress for a correction and she kept ignoring us and walked off. Multiple times. Eventually I gave up and just paid what they wanted.

Lastly- now home- and three of us are throwing up. The one of us who is not vomiting was a picky child who didn’t eat their lunch. So, that’s great. Pretty sure there was either a chemical like soap in our drinks, or something was off with the food.

Best sushi around!! And the Chinese food isn’t greasy. Only thing I don’t like is the restaurant, kind of run down. They need a new location or to do some renovations and take it to the next level. They have the quality of food to do so.

This place has really gone downhill, and that’s saying something. Tonight’s disappointment was orange chicken that was dry and devoid of any orange tanginess. The chicken fried rice was alright but not very fried – it desperately needed soy sauce, maybe some egg also, as the overwhelming flavor was raw onion. The biggest issue today, though, was the 2+ hour wait for an order we placed 5 hours previously. Come on Sake House, if you cannot manage the orders, stop accepting them.

Never ever order from here on New Year’s Eve! I placed an order online around 11:30am and asked for it to be ready for 6:30pm. I show up at 6:30 and there was a line of 50+ people than ran from the front door to the back door and then back towards the front door. These people had all placed orders for pickup at various times ranging from 5:30-6:30/7. After standing in line for about 45 minutes I quickly realized that once you paid for your order, you then had to then wait again for them to cook it. The guy at the front desk was doing the best he could to get people paid and a list to the kitchen. I overheard him say that the kitchen kept on losing said list and food just slowly trickled out. I finally received my food at 9pm after waiting 2 1/2 hours. I was so frustrated and upset. Once I arrived home, I was at least excited at the prospect of fresh, hot Chinese food. After digging in, I was again disappointed that the food was barely warm. I was so exhausted from waiting , I barely ate any of my food. Such a let down, and I imagine a lot of lost business after this debacle.

Sake House was recommended to us by family members living in the area. The takeout food was very good. Fast and friendly service. I highly recommend the Sake House

The food was overpriced and awful. The teriyaki chicken was dried out and over cooked and the rice noodles had a stale taste like they’ve been sitting in an open pantry for a while before they were cooked. We’ve been getting from here for years but the last few times it tastes like no one cares about what they’re doing over there. My husband’s fried rice was not fried, or if it was it was done so poorly, fried rice shouldn’t be white when it’s finished. Major disappointment all around, won’t be coming back… Thanks for wasting money and disappointing us when it’s the first time we’ve gotten ANYTHING out in a while.

Not a fan of the traditional offerings but the sushi is good as far as my poor palate can tell. I have to preface this by saying that New England Chinese food is vastly different from the rest of the country and this seems to be like something you would find outside of new england.
Edit: Tried the Pad Thai, well my bride did, she enjoyed it so if you want something different you might enjoy, also the Peking Raviolis are huge here

We have been eating here for the past several years and the food has been a good value. However yesterday we ordered $65 worth of asian food and found a metal ribbon from a cleaning pad in the food. It actually ended up in someones mouth. How dangerous and irresponsible, that could have ended up with a trip to the emergency room. Their quality has been going downhill for past 6 months. Will not eat here again.
