First thing to do here is ask for Steven to be your server. He is insightful, honest, attentive, and funny.
This place is a hidden gem. It doesn’t look like it offers much from the outside. I honestly never gave it a chance because of that.
I visited here to eat somewhere new and also away from the other AYCE down the hwy. I was a loyal fan of the other place but this place blows its competition out of the water. They do not charge for substitution of seaweed for soy wrappers or charge for the removal of things like cream cheese.
You can’t ask for “free” sashimi by asking for no rice on their nigiri but that makes complete sense. The AYCE lunch menu is massive and it was hard to choose what I wanted to try. Steven made great recommendations based on our likes. Each roll was extremely fresh and the sushi rice was pillowy soft.
I definitely plan to visit again soon.

My family came to Sak Bon Sushi for my preteen daughter’s birthday. Everyone got the AYCE, which I highly recommend because everything was excellent. The decor was a pleasant surprise. The food was great and the presentation was nice, especially for an all you can eat concept. The beef dishes were everyone’s favorite. Food won! We all were full and satisfied, and have been taking about it everyday since we left. Can’t wait to go back!

Awesome all you can eat sushi restaurant! Service was great. Order what you want. No rules other than a 2 hour limit. Never came close to worrying about the time limit because the food came out fast. Servers were very attentive to all our needs and were always ready to take our next order selection. Sushi, sashimi and hot foods are all choices. Everything was fresh and well prepared and presented.

Clean atmosphere, very open in the back area and lots of room for private eating and for parties. I noticed that even the utensils are organized in a neat way when I looked around.
Large variety in the menu and one note is the tuna sushi that was served to me. The tuna is much more delicate than expected, which was an interesting texture. The mackerel sushi actually surprised me, it’s subtly sweet and no fishy aftertaste.
If I were to pick a section of the menu to try first, go for the “Seared Nigiri” section. Very delicious all around. Very tender.
Overall 5/5 very fast service, they keep your table clean often as needed. Will be back here again to try more. High recommendation.

I had a great experience at sakebon. The staff was very friendly and attentive. One customer lost his wallet and the staff helped him find it. Our server Sunny was friendly and kept our glasses full which was a huge plus. The quality of fish was very fresh. I appreciated how clean the restaurant was. I left extremely full and satisfied .

Hot items are mouth blistering hot. Wait a few minutes before eating.
Squid sashimi was slimy. Uncooked food, was flavorless. Sashimi was not served on ice. Rice was not sushi grade.
Beautifully decorated and AC was kicking. Good for a large party.

I visited Sake Bon during lunch to try out the new sushi buffet. The lunch pricing was about average for a buffet, but honestly, the food quality didn’t really match the price point.
Our server was very friendly and provided great service throughout the meal. We ordered 8 rolls, soup, and a few appetizers. One thing that really concerned me was that the photos on the menu didn’t match what was brought to the table — they appeared to be stock photos from another restaurant. For example, the Dynamite Rolls were pictured as fried, but what was served was grilled.
When we pointed this out, our server apologized and confirmed that we were correct — the dish had been prepared incorrectly. We also ordered baked sushi, and again, it came out missing several of the toppings that were listed in the menu description. While the sushi still tasted good, this kind of inconsistency is a problem — especially for anyone with food allergies who relies on those descriptions.
Overall, I’d say it was an okay experience, but there are definitely some things they need to tighten up. With more attention to consistency and accuracy on the menu, this place could really improve!

Amazing AYCE experience! We had such a great time at Sake Bon! Steven, our server, was absolutely wonderful—super attentive, patient, and gave us all the time we needed to decide what we wanted. His service really made the whole experience feel comfortable and easygoing. The Sake Bon Roll was hands down the most impressive item we tried—delicious, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Definitely a must-try! The Takoyaki and Squid Sashimi were also top-notch. The squid in the takoyaki was fresh and tender, and the sashimi had a sweet, clean flavor with just the right hint of richness.We also tried the Autumn Sunrise drink—it was refreshing and well-balanced, not too sweet and super photogenic! Super high quality for an all-you-can-eat spot! The restaurant itself is very clean, cozy, and has a pleasant atmosphere. There are also lots of cute photo-worthy corners if you’re into that Highly recommend if you’re looking for a great AYCE sushi spot with excellent service!

I recently celebrated my birthday and had an amazing time! Thank you, Beverly, for being so attentive and checking in on us throughout the evening. The food was outstanding m y favorites were the sashimi and the spicy tuna. Everything was incredibly fresh and full of flavor. If you’re in the area, absolutely give this restaurant a try. Our server, Steven (Stephen?), was so informative and attentive, doing his best to satisfy our needs. All of the staff members are well picked, and the food selection is vast. It’s a very good price (in re. AYCE) for the amount of product available, and the salmon, yellowtail, and tuna sashimi are all very good. The ice cream was really good, and I absolutely recommend the White Tuna Truffle. The manager, Kevin (Calvin?), came by and made sure we were taken care of. Overall, Sake Bon holds great promise to do really well, and I will be returning very soon.
