Absolutely incredible service! Sky had me and my boyfriend laughing until we were literally crying — she was hilarious, warm, and so genuinely engaging. On top of that, the service itself was flawless: attentive, timely, and thoughtful without ever feeling rushed. This was hands down some of the best service I’ve had in a long time, and Sky completely made our experience. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her again!

Genuinely the best steak tacos I have ever had. I’ve had them every way, dine in, take out, and delivery. They HIT every single time. I recommend everyone looking for tacos to go. Their other options are also phenomenal but those steak tacos are on a different playing field. 100% go in/order from this place.

Girlllll, I ordered some tacos and they were smaller than my hand and my hand is small and then there portion of salsa was smaller than the pump of ketchup you get at Wendy’s. Can u imagine? The meat was honestly pretty good but portion wise and for the price not good. If u get tacos I recommend doubling up or just go to Buena Vista.

We’ve loved this place for so long. We ordered tamales today and feel ripped off. We paid $40 for “tamales”. In each tamale there’s about a quarter sized amount of meat. The rest is a big amount of masa so they look nice and big but it’s all masa. Not worth $40 for 10 tamales. The picture shows you can fit all the meat in one tamale on a regular sized fork.

I hate giving out bad reviews but it’s part of the gig. A bit disappointed from such a highly recommended place. Service is great, atmosphere is great but the food was subpar. I order a steak burrito, meat was hella greasy and no flavor to the steak 3/10. Also order a torta de milanesa, and meat did not hit 3/10. The salsas tasted all from a can. The horchata I ordered is a powdered mix but tastes decent so I give it a 6.5/10. It’ll be very hard for me to come back knowing there’s other better spots in Crystal lake.

I was a little worried when the taco salad first appeared because the shell was kind of small. However once I took a look at the amount of meat in the salad and the gorgeous pressure avocado on top I knew it would be a good meal. I got the chicken taco salad and my husband got the steak tacos salad. He said that this was easily the most meat he has ever had in a taco salad. Very tasty would recommend and I would order it again.

Stopped by here for some authentic tacos, food was good nothing to rave about. The margaritas are way too expensive, tastes like a green popsicle with barely any tequila in them not to mention they are $10 dollars each, oh and they add a $2.50 surcharge on the bill for their convenience. If they are going to add a surcharge everything should have been perfect but it wasn’t. We may return.

They have been my favorite taco spot for a couple of years now, great food and have had them cater a couple events with many people asking where it was from. That being said, tonight I called to place an order and was asked to hold for a minute which was absolutely fine(Friday night, I completely understand you are busier than other times). However after 22 minutes of listening to customers come and go and various transactions take place, I was pretty frustrated. I could hear full conversations and people coming and going waiting patiently to order my favorite quesadilla. I finally hung up and called back only to not be able to get through. Unfortunately, this is the 3rd or 4th time this has happened and had to go with a different restaurant for the night. Great place, but the front desk/order station needs some MAJOR improvement as it’s a reoccurring problem. I was even fine waiting 5 or 10 minutes but leaving people waiting to order like that for so long multiple times is bonkers unprofessional.

Ordered a Carne Asada burrito. It came with meat, beans, sour cream, cheese, tomato, onion and lettuce. Meat was minimal while lettuce was plentiful. It was cut in half which I like as burritos can be hard to keep together when uncut. Food came out fast and was presented well. Overall had minimal taste and I would say needed salt and more char on the steak. Even with adding salsa the burrito just wasn’t flavorful.
