This is the first time my wife and I have visited Saigon Uptown, and we were extremely impressed. They have amazing food that is served and prepared by wonderfully friendly people. We would highly recommend the Pork Egg Rolls, the Pho (I had the Pho with beef, filet mignon and meatballs), and the banh mi.

guys… you have to know there is better pho than this. this is some of the worst pho i’ve had in the cities. the chicken wings were also not great, but the wontons and spring rolls were okay! service (just one guy) was very slow despite us being 1 of only 2 tables in the restaurant, but he was very friendly! please revise your recipe, there is not even a hint of pho spices in the broth, it genuinely tastes like nothing. a little cinnamon and star anise will go a long way

Good service, excellent multi-cuisine Asian food, quiet low-key atmosphere, centrally located, very reasonable prices, and excellent vegetarian options. We ordered Fried Rice with Tofu and Black Bean Sauce with mock duck, both “extra spicy.” (Not too spicy for heat-lovers .) Menu is available online.

First of all, the food is delicious. I enjoy the food so much that I overlook the extreeeeemely slooooow service. The atmosphere is clean, cold and quiet. There is one nice older lady who shuffles about and runs the show (I suspect she is the waitress, cook, cashier, busser AND answers the phone). As soon as I walked in, I asked for spring rolls and wings, because I was starving and already knew it would be a long while before any food was on the table. My guest who had never been there before was convinced the nice lady ventured to Antartica on dogsled for the ice as it took about 25 minutes to get a glass of water. We were sincerely the only table there so I think the majority of the business is composed of much smarter customers who call in their orders. (I am doing that next time).

Spring rolls are amazing. I had chicken chow mein and my friend had lemon chicken. It was all delicious. Maybe bring a sandwich to hold you over until the food comes? Also, pack some salt because there were no salt shakers anywhere. Pepper, soy sauce and sugar was all they had out. I would have asked for some, but that might have been another long wait.

They only one server who cooks and serves at the same time
Their bubble tea was so bad. The tapioca pearls were soaks and saggy.
I ordered a pho. They took 30 minutes to make this. And there was only 3 other tables.

Paper Tape
This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, however, I hadn’t eaten there in over a year. I recently ordered and the quality of the food items I received were nowhere near as good as they used to be. So utterly and terribly disappointing. It makes me a little sad tbh.

Took my mom & sister to dinner here for their first time and everything was delightful. We got the egg rolls & wontons first and they were amazing as always. Then we got lemongrass curry with chicken, the vegetable stir fry with chicken, and the garlic stir fry with shrimp. We all stuffed our faces and were 100% satisfied. So great!

Ordered last night. 2 out of 3 of us didn’t love our food and they didn’t deliver Vietnamese Coffee we ordered. They asked for feedback this morning, I let them know about the coffee and they promised to do better, but no offer of a refund or discount off a future order. I asked about it and they once again vowed to do better next time. Nope… never gonna be a next time for us.
