So I came to this Starbucks with my partner and it was hot and we wanted to get some frappuccinos. There were no cars in the Drive-Thru and just a few cars in the parking lot. I ordered my favorite drink, a venti caramel ribbon crunch frap with extra caramel and crunch on the top and bottom. He ordered peppermint mocha iced latte. We pulled up and paid and my biggest worry was that they got my order wrong, because usually I’ll just let it go and drink it the way it is, but not be happy about it. When the drinks came I looked at it and I was ecstatic that they had gotten it just the way I like it. However, that was the least of my worries. As we started to pull away,( out of that tight little turn they have in their drive-thru) I realized that they had not put my top fully on. And since they always fill it fill it to the top with the cap on, it had nowhere else to go but all over me. I was trying desperately to make this turn and at the same time keep this stuff from spilling too much more on me. I pulled into a parking space and got out of my car to go inside and let them know what happened and have them fix my drink. when I got inside the were three employees and maybe one customer sitting down, so they weren’t busy at all. Now this is where the low rating comes from…
They all saw me when I came in with frappuccino dripping off of me. I told them what happened and all they did was take my cup for me and start to make me a new drink. I had to ask for something to wipe myself off with because not one of them offered. They saw me frantically trying to clean myself off with the three napkins that they handed me, and not one of them said anything like, “I’m so sorry this happened”. Even if it was fake, it would have been appreciated to hear. Nothing.
The only thing I heard was,” Order re-made” as the guy put my cup down and walked away. It was just plain rude and I’ll never go back there again. If they were busy I would have been more understanding, but they were just plain rude.

I was disappointed because I’ve been a customer here, yesterdat I ordered 2 white chocolate mocha with Soy, grande and Venti size, I redeem my rewards for my White Chocolate mocha Venti, i don’t know why but everytime I redeem my rewards my coffee doesn’t taste good. Like they don’t do it right. Sometimes my white chocolate mocha has no taste and yesterday was worst, it’s not coffee, It doesn’t taste white chocolate mocha that i always ordered here everyday. Its really frustrating coz when I drink my coffee I’m already at work and i can’t go back to change it.

I come to this store everyday. Usually I order pick up in store. Today 11/12/25 around 10:07-10:10am the two ladies that helped me at the window were very rude and had no customer service skills, also laughed at me waiting for my drink when I informed them I was still waiting for my second item, I’m not a Karen but don’t be disrespectful if you don’t like your job, cause I’d be wrong if I slapped that grin off your faces right? I had a drive thru order and when I asked to change my drink to iced the 2 baristas refused to change my drink and suggested I get back in the drive thru line. They said management does not allow it. What a poor excuse. The people there are jerks and have no idea sense of customer service. Other Starbucks would have changed my drink but this guy was saying that other people were waiting behind me. It wouldnt take long to make an iced coffee.
Sad to say I will not come back to this location. If you get your order wrong they will not help you.

Had the occasion to be in La Mesa and drove by and saw Starbucks so I went in for my favorite hot chai tea latte made with half and half. It was made to perfection. The cashier was very nice and the line although long moved very quickly along. Thank you Starbucks for my happy drink

Six baristas on the floor and not one could say hi to me. Also waited for a mobile order for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. As a former employee, this saddens me. I’m not sure who was running the shift this morning, but the partners were not very happy to be there.

I usually order through the app as I am soft-spoken and shy, but my app wasn’t working & I was there so I ordered at register. The barista was really nice on the register & it made me feel okay to talk. This Starbucks is close to my home so I’ll choose it as my usual now. Thank you for being nice!

I have been a regular patron of this Starbucks branch, and I am consistently impressed by the exceptional service and atmosphere this location offers. Despite being a bustling hub, the team manages to deliver prompt service without compromising on quality.

The staff’s dedication to customer satisfaction is evident in their helpful and kind demeanor. In particular, Mary stands out with her warmth and positivity. Her consistent warm greetings and cheerful disposition make each visit a pleasure. Interacting with her assures me of the care and quality invested in her work and the customer.

The drive-thru, while occasionally experiencing backups, remains a convenient option for those on the go. However, I on occasion I do find that walking in can be a quicker alternative when they’re busy.

Cleanliness is another hallmark of this location. The premises are consistently neat and well-maintained, reflecting the team’s commitment to providing a pleasant environment.

As expected from Starbucks, the quality of coffees and food is top-notch, maintaining the brand’s reputation for consistency and taste. While it is fast food, the experience at this location elevates it to a worthy indulgence.

So anyway, this Starbucks branch shows off with excellence in service, cleanliness, and product quality. The awesome staff, especially Mary, ensure that each visit is enjoyable and satisfying.
