The banh mi was good however, just a little on the dry side, the meat that is, but it was well seasoned and tasty. The the sandwich came with fresh Julienned carrots and daikon, fresh sliced jalapenos, and cucumbers. It came garnished with fresh cilantro sprigs, but was missing a spritz of fish sauce. The French baguette was great and are baked in house. I think they should offer a side of fish sauce and/or a hot sauce with the banh mi sandwiches.
The service was friendly. They offer a small amount of inside seating but none outside. They offer a large amount of banh mi sandwiches and milk tea beverages.
Upon coming in, we were greeted right away. We saw there were several other customers inside eating regular bánh mì.
There are about 3-4 small tables inside with stools to sit on. The shop looked clean and menus were easy to read.
Service was very friendly and the lady recommended her favorite the fresh fruit tea, but sadly they were sold out. We got the Thai tea and milk tea with boba instead. She was nice enough to throw in free fried shrimp for us
The Thai tea was decent, but the star was the milk tea. Usually milk tea has a black tea base, but this one was fragrantly jasmine and delicious!
The bánh mì que is a new style of sandwich that is shorter and skinnier. It was filled with a good amount of char siu meat and veggies.
Based on the quality of these items, I’d come back to try their regular bánh mì if I was in the area and craving it.
The lady up front (also the store owner) said that they had this shop for about a year. I wanted my banh mi without mayo and she was like “why?! My mayo is different. It’s very good! Here I’ll let you try it. If you don’t like it, then I won’t put it on”. So I gave it a try and she was right, it was different, but it is still mayo and I just don’t like mayo. She made my sandwich without mayo and it was good!
The banh bao is standard size and is good too.
The lady said that they make everything fresh. If you’re looking to get good homemade banh mi, this place is worth checking out!
Not only did they gift me a free sandwich with the purchase of 2, but the quality and flavor was exactly what I was wanting and expected. I got the BBQ PORK SANDWICH which was about $7.99 each and good size. The Thai tea was served with soft foam as recommended by the nice lady who helped me and IT WAS DELICIOUS!!!!!!! So creamy and smooth the taste was amazing. I also ordered a mango banana smoothie and OOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFF
That HIT !!!!!!
I haven’t had something so refreshing and tasty in a long time to make my tastebuds dance.
If you’re looking for a spot for good Vietnamese sandwich and drinks this spot right here is the way to go!!!!! The are great priced and good quality place
