Incredible. Ordered the duck and the beef noodles, both were a hit. Super flavorful and balanced, meat was cooked perfectly. Got their version of an espresso martini, the honey espresso mousse, probably the best mixed drink I’ve had all year. The interior is such a cool vibe, very cozy and tasteful. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time.

Only thing worth coming for is the drinks, vibes, and dessert. Skip the food because it’s overpriced and ~fusion~ Vietnamese food. Why are we out here charging $35 for bun cha when it’s literally street food in Vietnam $190 after tip and tax for 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 cocktails, and 1 dessert – You’re better off getting authentic viet food in Dorchester then heading here for drinks afterwards ‍♀️

We really enjoyed our dinner at Saigon Babylon! I think it’s one of the better places I’ve been to in Boston in terms of food, ambiance, and location. The drink options were really fun and tasted delicious. Although the menu was small, there was a good variety. The food had a lot of flavor and felt very unique. Finally, the service was a little slow but everyone was really kind and welcoming. I would definitely come back!

The roof top is amazing seeing the beautiful sunset! The food was very tasty and scrumptious. There wasn’t a single item we didn’t like. We had the Steamed Manila Clams the broth was amazing. We also had the Pho Bo Xao and Monkfish for our entrees. Both were absolutely delicious. Then for desert we had Housemade Softserve and a Honey Mousse Expresso very unique. The bartender Stella was amazing. I would highly recommend a visit!!

Always a treat to come back here. Saigon Babylon is a gem, and as a Viet living in the area, I often come here to satisfy my craving for home flavors. The food is super interesting–it’s truly the type of fusion food that makes its inspiration shine. I normally avoid going to fusion Viet place, but Saigon Babylon is a wonderful example. They use fresh, sustainable and seasonal ingredients while using Viet cooking techniques. The flavor profile is extremely authentic. Overall, one of my favorite restaurants!

Overall I really enjoyed the food and thought that the majority of the dishes were excellent and unique. The menu was small (only 8 total dishes excluding dessert) and I was able to try half the menu (4 dishes). I thought they did a
great job at selecting the right dishes for the season, as they were largely light (rather than hearty) and had very refreshing flavors. The price point is a litle higher than id typically spend for a casual dinner, but would be ok with
splurging once in a while.

I’ve been meaning to try out Saigon Babylon, so when we were looking for a place to get a late dinner, we jumped on the opportunity. While there is an outdoors area, there’s also an indoors section with bar seating, a communal table, and smaller tables. We sat at the bar. The restaurant is dimly lit with lots of unique animal sculptures of all sizes — I was especially intrigued by a life sized sculpture of a pigeon that was at the bar (a sign of things to come…accidentally ordering and eating squab). Service was good and we enjoyed the appetizers, but weren’t as big fans of the mains.

Good, might get again:
– Beef carpaccio: The beef was tender. The sauce was sweet and slightly tangy. I liked the crunchy rice paper chip.
– Squab sticky rice: I’m squeamish about trying new meats and would never have ordered this if I knew what it was, but honestly it was quite good. Very tender meat and mushroom topping with coconut flavored sticky rice.
– Steamed manila clams: The clams were juicy and tender, though there may have been a bit of sand left in them. The broth was very strongly flavored. Dipping sauce was sweet.

Wouldn’t get again:
– Oxtail stew: This was quite sweet and you could taste the wine. The oxtail was decently tender, but nothing special.
– Monkfish: This didn’t have much flavor (you had to use a sweet sauce) and felt quite heavy since both the fish and the vegetables were deep fried. I think a fresh acidic raw salad would be a better vegetable pairing for this dish.

Overall we started out decently strong with the appetizers but were quite disappointed by the mains. The portion sizes are decent — the two of us were struggling to finish, and could have ordered 2-3 dishes and been fine. But Cicada is still my favorite restaurant by this group. I think I liked this place better than The Eaves, but not by much.

Sg babylon was such a sleeper hit omg. I went in thinking it’d be regular but the flavors were actually bussin’. Vibes were clean, views from the 5th floor kinda nice too. Staff super friendly. Lowkey a spot I’d hit again fr

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while! Our waiter was really nice and generous with his wine pours. The atmosphere was cool and eclectic. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had the black cod and duck confit as our mains.

This might just be one of the best bars in Boston – and we’re incredibly lucky to have it in Central Square. I visited with a friend and ordered the Duck and the Fluke, both of which were outstanding and paired perfectly with the Good Dealer and Honey Mousse Espresso cocktails. Our waiter, Langston, was an absolute superstar – attentive, warm, and on top of everything. My only regret is that the management was running such a smooth floor that I didn’t get a chance to personally let them know how great he was before we left. This is definitely the place to go if you’re looking for a great night out, whether with a friend or on a date.
