I am writing to formally express my disappointment following a recent experience at your Market Street location.
On Tuesday May 13 2025, I visited the store in the morning and ordered a sandwich and coffee. However, I was overcharged for my order. When I politely asked for clarification, the staff member who took my order responded rudely, stating it was the “card price” and added an additional $4. When I requested to speak with a manager, he became confrontational and told me to “get out, you bum.”
This level of disrespect and unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, and I am very disappointed with how I was treated as a customer. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and fairness.
I hope you will look into this incident and take appropriate action to ensure it does not happen to others in the future. I would also appreciate a response regarding how this situation will be addressed.

I used to come to this place back in 2016 when I was a bartending student in Newark, and Royal Chicken and Biscuit was the spot for my fried chicken fix between classes. Nearly 10 years later, I came back and it’s still the best in town! Same crispy, flavorful bite. It brings back sweet memories with every taste. Some things really do stay golden.

Menu price does not reflect the actual price you will pay even with the added tax. I hope this is just a honest case of the owner forgetting to update the price instead of a deceptive practice. Chicken also tastes a bit like powdered milk.

Not the best but we had worst. The service is slow. Cell phone activity was before customers. My husband ordered and paid for the meal. Which seems to have been someone else meals. The chicken was dry and cold. The fries was hot and the drinks cold Who could want more!!!
