Went to the new location in Batesburg-Leesville for some takeout. The staff had smiles on their faces and were friendly when we stopped in. The took our order with no wait time and our order was ready in less than four minutes. Only thing that kept this review a four star and not a five is that when we got home and looked one of our orders was not fully correct. Will go back again and can’t beat the cost.

I ordered just a ketchup and cheese burger tray and when I opened it it had lettuce mayo tomatoes and bacon on it but NO PATTY if you get a burger wrong at least put a patty on it

This location used to be pretty good when first opening but the last couple of times I’ve gone had not been as good. The last two times, the chili inside of my walking taco was burnt and it was such an awful taste and my burger had more onion than burger. It was so displeasing.

The food was hot and fresh the 3 times we’ve been here. The staff is refreshingly polite. The only complaint I have is that whoever is making the coleslaw is not sticking to the standard recipe. They’ve apparently decided their memaw put 47 cups of sugar in hers so they’ll alter the recipe the way they like it. Only most people don’t want syrup slaw. It shouldn’t be sweeter than most desserts. Oh and the one I tried the walking taco & it was gross.

Everybody loves Cook Out, this location lives up to expectations. The burgers were good, the chili on the chili dogs was burned. They got the food out pretty quick for us after a large order that was in front of us though.

Loved stopping by the one in Lexington or Aiken before this one was built since I rarely went there and could get them when I did. But the Batesburg one has been really good every time I have stopped by the drive-thru workers are super nice and friendly and the food is normally always ready when I get to the window. I’ve had one experience where I got a hotdog plate and one of them was overcooked a little but I’m not gonna complain too much since it was during lunchtime and a ton of people were behind me in line and it was like the 6th time coming here. Every other time the order has been correct with no issues and even when they’re super busy they’re still quick to get people thru the drive-thru and inside I would think also. Definitely would recommend stopping by if you have ever had them before or wanted to try the place, was one of my favorites places to stop when I went to Lexington or Aiken before and the Batesburg seems to be runned super well with nice workers
