Some of the best food, I have experienced on Saint Simons Island. This grilled chicken, oriental salad was exceptional. The service is very good and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely will be coming back .

We had a nice time at Sago and definitely plan to go back. The servers were really friendly and attentive. The food was a good value, had excellent presentation, and the atmosphere was friendly. We came for the entertainment on the patio but will be back. We ordered the Ahi Martini, which came in a martini glass with the dipping sauces spread on the plate below the tuna and seaweed salad. We also ordered the fried green tomatoes, which were good but had a little too much going on. They could have ditched some of the lettuce and added more vinegar or salt to the chow chow served on top.

Wasn’t sure what to expect since this is a resort/golf course restaurant. It was going to be overpriced and junk or average for the area. Well it was actually priced very reasonably! And the food was really good. I didn’t get anything fancy, but the Georgia shrimp bowl was perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back.

Delicious food. Great service. Our waitress Brenda was so friendly and attentive and the manager, Gerald, checked on us too. We had a great experience here two weeks ago and decided to return. Friendly people with delicious food!

We made reservation online for dinner and got seated promptly after we arrived. They didn’t seem very busy for a Saturday Easter weekend. Our waitress was nice and polite. They had a pianist/singer playing, which was nice. A bit loud, difficult to have a conversation but we enjoyed the music. We ordered burgers and pizza. All came out as ordered. Food was tasty, no complain. It was our cheapest meal in SSI so far, nice surprise. We will be back.

I really do like the food here but the staff prioritizes hotel guests over regular patrons. Ive been there four times now, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but everything I’ve ever order has been cold. Great food but I wouldn’t suggest going there unless you are staying at the hotel

Good morning and Happy Mother’s Day. So today my husband decided to surprise me by taking me out for a Mother’s Day breakfast in St. Simons Island Sago at Sea Plams. I have never been there before and this was my first experience at this restaurant. It was posted on Facebook for their breakfast Buffet today with a complimentary mimosa for Mother’s. To state the least our service was not any better than going to McDonald’s in town. Other then the amount of rude behavior on the staff. We where the first to arrive for our reservation. Which we were on time but we didn’t dress in our Sunday best. Would of if it stated a dress code but there wasn’t one in the post. Not like that should matter. The Hosted never said Happy Mother’s day to me but he did to others showing up.They didn’t even know about there advertisement for a complimentary mimosa and tried to dismiss it and say there wasn’t one. Until we showed them the post for today. As if we were just trying to get over on them. Staff acted as if they didn’t want to wait on us. Hosted walk up to one waitress and ask for her to take order ( being we were first to show up) and it seem as if she totally ignored him and never came over to us. For what they advertise in the post our bill was over $90 person for a basic breakfast. I was disappointed in how staff handles themselves and one man felt the need to stare at us like we would run out on the bill.
