We used to live in the area. When we visit, we like to eat at our old favorites. Sagebrush fits that category. The food and service are consistently good. The atmosphere has a lively vibe.
Really, the only reason I don’t rate the food better is it could have been served hotter. Usually, the food is piping hot. However, the tortilla soup was hot and delicious. I could eat a cup of that every day.
Overall, I recommend this place to everyone. We have brought large groups of 20 and the service and food are always good.

I had pretty high expectations as my mom goes a lot with her friends and they all love it. The place looks cool and the service was really great. Unfortunately, the food was a let down in several ways. I will say first, the chicken soup was amazing. It’s the only reason food got 3 stars lol the salsa was decent too and the chips were fairly thick and crunchy, which I like but some with sensitive gums etc may have trouble. Good news is you can throw them in your chicken soup and you’re good to go! I ordered a build your own combo which comes with rice and beans, along with soup, chili or a salad. I do highly recommend the soup. I chose carnitas taco and the flautas w shredded beef. Presentation was really nice but it was overall disappointing. My flautas were dry and not so flavorful. Carnitas also underwhelming. I didn’t finish mine and my bf basically hardly touched his fajitas. They were the weirdest looking chicken fajitas we’ve seen. We frequent Mexican places all over, as we travel for work… We were surprised to see larger slices of orange looking chicken, he also said the onions were off. It definitely was not appetizing and the server said it was a marinade. He didn’t like it and also discovered the tortillas, inside the little warmer, we’re hard as a rock on the edges, a big bummer for sure. The margaritas were alright, a little heavy on the sour. A 20 oz house frozen was $9 and it was $14 for a 20 oz mango flavored. I thought that seemed like a lot but I was more concerned that the food was mediocre and that he didn’t get to enjoy his food much at all. We did not complain or try to get money off or whatever, we just declined boxes and prolly won’t go back. After pics of what was left over and short vid of rock hard tortillas.

Always a great experience!! The staff is top-notch and Erin stands out for her friendly service and attention to customers. She makes excellent drinks and creates a welcoming atmosphere every visit. Easily the best Mexican food in Fenton.

Had a chicken taco salad made by Mario who rocked it!! It was huge, delish and so awesome!!! Husband had fish and chips.. he said he like it and wouldnt hesitate to get it again. Page our server was very attentive, accommodating and professional.. geat experience!

Great food, great service, and AMAZING margaritas. Fish Tacos are the best I’ve ever had. Chili is great! Last time I was there, one of the bartenders was walking around passing out samples of drinks with a smile. I was blown away! How awesome!!! Love this place.

Kevin was our server, he did a great job, very timely, great attitude, he had the menu memorized word for word. Amazing kid all around.
The margarita flight was bomb, wish I could say the same about the carnitas tacos, the mozzarella sticks were cold but Kevin made sure we got new ones sent out.
Experience would have been 5/10 if it wasn’t for our server, 9/10 experience forsure!

We frequent Sagebrush, have for years. Their chips and salsa are my favorite and my son is obsessed with their rice. I’ve never felt compelled to leave a review but I after the experience we had last night for a late night dinner after work I had to.
Eric was our server and he was beyond impressive!! So tentative and very friendly.
I am a server myself, so sometimes my standards are high but also
have a great understanding of the job.
My fiancé and I kept mentioning throughout our time how impressed we were, we had to compliment him.
You guys made a great choice adding him to your team!!

Brought my family to sage brush cantina in Fenton, first impressions the hostess was very friendly sat us right away, our waiter Eric was the most friendly and professional waiter we have had in a long time, made us feel right at home. I will honestly say I haven’t been so impressed with the service in a long time!! Will absolutely return multiple times.

As longtime Sagebrush lovers of many years—we’re honestly disappointed with the recent change in management. The food is consistently great, and the service has always been wonderful, but since the new management came in, the overall experience just feels off.
If it weren’t for our amazing server, Lexi, we probably wouldn’t consider coming back—she truly made the experience worth it. We really hope Sagebrush takes this feedback seriously, because this has been our favorite establishment for a long time and we want to see it thrive.

We had a great experience tonight! Between the smiling hosts at the door, our great server, and a woman who I believe is the manager was so sweet and helpful! The staff is amazing and keeps getting better! We come in every Friday and they never disappoint!
