Saffron serves up authentic and delicious Indian food. It is family owned and operated, very affordably priced, and always spot on with flavor, quality, freshness, and presentation. If you’re looking for really good Indian food, look no further than Saffron. I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad dish. Highly recommend!

One of the worst place to eat! deserve ZERO stars .. The food did not look or taste like it was cooked fresh.

The food the service were spot on the price was definitely to high. As a foodie and critic I enjoyed its cozy quaint cafe style. But it’s prices will keep me from going back. ($50 for 1 person before gratuity). Its not that I can’t afford it. There is just as good of Indian food at other establishments offering same quality food at an affordable price. Drop your prices get 5 stars. (And repeat customers)

This was the best meal I have had in ages. I used to go to Saffron when they were at a different location, and I was so happy when I found out they ended up moving to another spot. Saffron is inside of a gas station, but don’t let that deter you. I will definitely be coming back soon! I absolutely love their chicken tikka masala. Also, the owner is the sweetest man ever! I always have an positive experience at Saffron Indian Cuisine.

The location is in the gas station but that just adds to the vibe. The butter chicken with medium spice nailed it! If you want authentic this is the place to go, if you don’t feel comfortable eating at a gas station then order in Uber eats etc. I highly recommend it my friends.

I’ve been going to Saffron since it opened. I’ve tried other Indian restaurants in Tampa, but find their food the absolute best. Now they will custom make vegan dishes too! Try the Palak Paneer and a pint of the take home Korma sauce. Love it!

Made order on Grubhub. Wont say anything bad but just save your money and get food from elsewhere. You WILL be disappointed for the price.

Pathetic food in whole Tampa / central Florida. They served us frozen food, naans and awful biryani. Not sure how this is 4star restaurant. Owner was complaining that his chef went to India few months ago and this was the reason for awful experience.

Totally disappointed. Came here after checking on Google reviews. The gentleman at the counter was courteous and friendly. But the food is horrible. The two biriyanis were both dry (rice as well as chicken). The rice felt old and the chicken did not have at least a bit of moisture. Biriyani rice needs to be rich with spices but this was just bland. Coloring the rice doesn’t mean it will get tastier. Got two spice levels and the spicy one just had paprika on top of the rice. The yoghurt sauce (Raita) had ragged vegetable parts. Three small Chicken pieces in each biriyani.

Good food from a gas station. Everything made fresh by the couple who run the place. Food made to order. We ordered the paneer and the chicken it tasted authentic and amazing. I am pretty sure this will be the go to spots for curries for a while. Its far but its worth the drive.
