The best food ever!!! The owner waited on us, he was so friendly and recommended wonderful dishes for us. You can taste the quality. Everything is made from scratch and it is obvious. The quality and the flavors are so unique and will have you craving to come back. Do yourself a favor, please, go support this wonderful restaurant!

Food is good. Serving size is good. Ambiance is good. Servers were awkwardly good. They tried to be friendly, but I feel the hesitation. Authentic Indian, and we really enjoyed our meal. The smell of the spices welcomes you as you walk in. It’s not that subtle but not that strong also. A notch down would have been perfect, but it’s okay. The restroom is okay, but it needs air freshener. Overall, a bit pricey, but it’s authentic and a goat (good) experience. Yup. I tried goat, and it’s good.

I love Indian cuisine and gave two chances to this restaurant within a week apart and they both failed! The food is ok, nothing special or extraordinary, last time my husband and I both didn’t even eat half of our meals and everything was left on the table! The service is very bad and the people who work there are rude and not friendly at all. The lady cleaned up the table, entirely, while we were still sitting at the table! It has a very convenient location but definitely the food and stomach bug after is not worth the experience.

Been going to Nawab Indian cuisine where the food is pretty good but the staff can be hit or miss. Just recently started going to Saffron in town center and the food is amazing! Great menu and staff are friendly. The price range is very competitive especially being in town center.

When I first moved to the Va Beach area, Saffron was my go-to spot for Indian food. Unfortunately, the quality of their food (I get their curry chicken) has went down tremendously over the last 3 years. The last 2 times, the curry has been in a bowl of oil. I will be looking for a new Indian cuisine spot.
