Service was attentive, but do not order the fajitas. The ingredients seem like they came straight from a steam bag and plated on a pre heated over skillet only used for plating. The food had no sizzle or aromatics. The chunks of chicken were more made for a salad than tucking into a tortilla.

Why you need to visit: fantastic selection of craft beer, very good food, great service, large outside patio, live entertainment. When I walked in, an employee greeted me with a friendly smile, and I grabbed a seat at the bar. Brie (a friendly, knowledgeable bartender) gave me a menu and suggested an ale, hazy IPA to be exact, which was very good. She also recommended a starter and a hamburger of which they are well known. I ordered the Stuffed Mushrooms and the Fire Hamburger with onion rings. I upgraded the beef patty to Bison Beef (awesome choice), which was outstanding!! The Stuffed Mushrooms were simply the best!! My highlights were all the above. I highly recommend eating and drinking at Saddle Mountain Brewery!! The place itself had a laid-back, warm feeling. Nice background music as well.

For a place that brags about having award-winning burgers, I was disappointed that mine was dry and overcooked. The burger did taste great, and was beautifully crafted, but if you’re gonna ask me how I want it cooked and not deliver on that, then that is no award-winning burger.
On top of that, service was slow and beer menus were nowhere to be found. I had to scan a QR code (no idea it was there until we asked the server for a beer menus) or wait for the TV to shift briefly to the beer offerings. I tried a couple of IPAs and wasn’t wow’d. Server took forever to come by and check on us or cash us out. $50 for an overcooked burger and two beers is crazy when you stop to think about it.
For being one of the only breweries in the area it’s fine for what it is. But put it up against some proven restaurants in Phoenix and it’s hard to put forward a case for Saddle Mountain based on this first (and likely last) impression.

First time visiting SMBC & we were so impressed! The food was AMAZING and so was the service. Shout out to our server Kayla she was very attentive, offered great menu suggestions and was so friendly.
We ordered the jalapeño dip appetizer, the hot chicken sandwich and the horseradish burger with bison beef and all of it was 10/10! You can taste the fresh ingredients and everything was cooked perfect! This was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu!
It’s a little pricey but worth every penny.

From the moment we walked in, the service was welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and came out fresh and fast — everything we tried was really good.
What stood out most was the manager walking around checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. That personal touch says a lot and really makes you feel valued as a customer.
It’s clean, comfortable, and has such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect spot for date nights, family dinners, or meeting up with friends.
We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food and even better service!

I 100% recommend this place. First time here Bre single handed took care of me and the crew, the food was amazing. I went with the Arizona hot chicken sandwich an amf, a now what drink special with a shot. We all were happy with the service and food prepared by the kitchen.

Ate here last night with my girlfriend. Our server Vanessa was absolutely wonderful, the live music was a very nice addition, and the food and drinks were all 10/10.
They are service dog friendly, and everyone stopped to greet my fur baby as he enjoyed the calm atmosphere. It was surprisingly full of kids running around having fun outside, which gave the place a very warm family vibe. Absolutely recommend this establishment for dates, friends and family outings.

The food was really good, the beer was super rad and the service was beyond compare.
Ryan was our bartender at first and he was so great. He was personable and real. Kayla was our outside waitress and she was just as good.

This is a really unique restaurant they offer bison and elk burgers and they have some amazing fish and chips and bomb nachos… our only hiccup was the kid’s meal, we got the marinara pasta but the sauce was very spicy and definitely unexpected for a kid’s dish but thankfully they let us get something else instead
