In this current – seemingly, “Hire Whomever UCan get 2 Come N Climate” customer service may automatically (NOW) come as a u welcomed part of the Memphis area restaurant “institution”
Subtract a worker leaning on the counter on his phone – another staring and saying nothing and another lost in the back somewhere/ +add an e[end3d wait to place the order – an inoperable hand dryer NO PAPER towels IN THE bathroom and an incomplete order and it = equals (whatever ) or WHAT DID I expect
Well I expected a good tasting turkey burger and I gobble gobbles on up. It was on point as usually, but I want to back to this one on Macon/SycView though because service and time is still important (2 me).
But[TOPS] is still atop of the food chain with that turkey burger – thanks for the good taste of food consistency.
Not welcomed and no thx to or for, the inconsistent & ” it figures ” service

By far the worst. I ordered brisket more like jerky. Dry and hard. I went back but they were closed and wouldn’t come to the window. This store needs a revamp. The staff is trash,service was trash and when you have trash they put out trash and the food was garbage.

Please find better staff!! They do not listen to your order and give you what they want you to have. Ordered almost $60 bucks worth of food! The sandwiches were made VERY POORLY! BARELY any meat, very small amount of slaw placed in the middle of the sandwich, and hardly any sauce. Potato salad was not good and our nacho plates were just thrown together. Food way too high not to get what you are paying for. Sad you have to travel outside the city to get great service and establishments that make sure their employees are putting out good product. I will not be back to this location! I am sure they don’t care because they didn’t act like they wanted to be at work anyway.

Lived in Memphis area for 40+ yrs and a loyal Top’s customer. Over time I have watched this location decline. The burnt oil smell and the dirty dinning room along with disgusting restroom was too much! The reason the concrete at the main entrance is black is because the floor inside is slick with grease. I will not return to this location. I hope management can improve for I do wish Tops the best.

The hamburgers use to be the best in Memphis, but lately the meat has been dry and over cooked with black on the outside of the meat? Maybe they changed meat patties with a new vendor? The fries are very good and tasty.

Food was great. They have boulders blocking the drive thru. So if you didn’t know to drive around towards the back on the parking lot you’d think it’s closed and you could only use the front door. A sign need to be put there letting patrons know how to get to drive thru window.
The boulders are very big red and colored concrete. Prohibiting anyone from going that way.
I order the sliders. You get 3 for $7.99 . I mixed mine with pork and chicken. And chose for my chicken slider to be sweet bbq sauce and pork was mild heat I think. They were both delicious . Go head Tops!

I always try to eat at Tops any time I am in Memphis. Had a great fast meal this time (pork shoulder plate with baked beans and fries), and picked up a bottle of their excellent sweet & spicy sauce to take home. I’m from Kansas City, where we love our BBQ, and Toms deserves its of popularity!

I went back and forth with a smart mouth cook. She is such a professional that she gave me excessive fat on my brisket plate. She was taught to do so, not my words. Do not order brisket without telling them to give you 100 percent beef. The cook told me that you must ask for all beef, otherwise 60 percent will be pure fat. I stated to the cook, ” you wouldn’t give this to your dog, children, or eat it yourself. She argued with me and we went back and forward about a 65 percent sandwich that was all fat. Make sure to tell them all beef not fat. She said that it was taught to her and she is an employee of many years. Well, I’m done! That doesn’t include the fat that was still on my plate that I consumed. Notice each location and the amount of fat on a brisket sandwich. You must request no fat or less fat. They have all the fat that you didn’t ask for.
