We loved our time at Sabroso! It’s hard to mix casual dining, live music, and great food and wrap it all up in one bow. But they have figured it out here. The food was excellent. Cooked properly and served well. We loved the band and enjoyed the outdoor seating. It was shady and still had a breeze. The wine selection was limited but still had some good options. We will definitely return and try more of the menu the next time we’re in the area. Best dining experience so far in Taos.

Great atmosphere! We showed up on a Sunday evening and they had some live music on the patio that really lent itself to the ambience. The service was fantastic from the welcoming hostess to the knowledgeable and friendly server.

The food was okay. The service was great. I had a NY strip steak. The sauce was good, steak was not spectacular by any means. The Caesar salad was fantastic. Unfortunately the menu has been reduced in size and my old favorites have been eliminated. The service was great and what usually keeps me coming back.

A fabulous restaurant and all-around casual cocktail venue. The atmsophere consisting of several intimate indoor rooms, a piano bar, and a splendid outdoor, covered patio makes Sabroso an absolutely satisfying place to bring your family and friends. The menu is positively perfect. My choice of the daily special, salmon on a bed of veggies and pilaf, was probably the best fish dish that I’ve ever had.

Rare that I would give a 5 star review when the food is really just 3 star (we each had the tuna poke). Were not expecting great raw tuna this far inland and it was just average. However, the wait staff, the live music they had on a Sunday night and the garden like atmosphere more than made up for it.

Ate there in the outside patio with my wife on a Monday evening which was an enjoyable experience. Service was responsive and pleasant. We started with a Caesar salad and wedge salad. The Caesar was a standard restaurant salad—not bad but nothing special. The wedge salad had way too much dressing on it as it pooled on the plate. We then shared the bbq bison brisket which was outstanding. For dessert we shared the bread pudding which was excellent. Nice night out.

This restaurant is very consistent, I been coming here for several years now, and every time I left satisfied with the food and the service.

Waited 20 min. for a waiter to take our drink order, another 15 min. for our drinks which were watery from sitting at the bar so long. An hour later finally got our food which was cold by the time we got it. Ended up getting it to go so we could heat it up at home. Over $120 and 1.5 hours for cold food.

I live in Taos and Sabroso used to be one of my regular go-tos with friends & visitors. But the menu needs refreshing, and in the summertime the music on the outdoor patio is so loud we could not carry on a conversation! Sabroso needs to remember that friends get together for dinner to visit with each other. Turn down the amps please.

If I could give a 0 star review I absolutely would. We were visiting and had the absolute worst service experience ever. They had multiple tables empty and didn’t sit us. Once sat we were completely ignored I later heard it’s because our party consisted of locals to the area. I would think you would love the support of the local community apparently NOT. Absolutely WORST service ever!
