Empanadas are what brought us here, but we were delighted to try some other authentic Colombian specialties, like the corn flats, chicken/lentil mixed soup, breads. We didn’t know what most of the items were since this was out first time here, and while the servers were pleasant they couldn’t really explain to us what we were pointing out to her in an effort to try some of the items that looked appealing to us. It didn’t stop us though as we got a nice selection to get us started, surely will bring us back. The soup was delicious, the beef empanadas were crispy and full of flavor and perfect texture. The corn cakes with a white cheese was another great find and certainly could be add to our favorites! There are a few tables inside to sit and enjoy your purchase if you’re lucky enough to find one empty…

Disgusting customer service. I called to place an order for a non Spanish speaker to pick up without issue. The lady who took my call was annoyed that I was ordering and told me to just come in as the items were available. I added that I wanted to order meals. She begrudgingly “took” my order. When the person I sent, went to pick up the order, the staff were rude and had no idea what the order was. The order was never taken. I’ll be taking my money to the Comalapa.

I’ve been coming here for years & it’s the only one in the area that I actually enjoy. I’ve tried a few other places in Brentwood and their food doesn’t take as authentic to Colombian culture as this one does. The food is flavorful, my go tos are always the almojabanas, bunuelos , the lentil soup and ofcourse their hot chocolate!! I’ll drive the miles for these !!! Definitely try to come early as everything is fresh and by 11 the morning rush comes !!

My wife and I are in Brentwood every Sunday for work. We rotate between a few different bakeries but this one is out favorite. My wife is Colombian and said their bakery and food is as close as you’ll get to traditional Colombian delicacies locally. Highly recommend!
