This place is worth the drive. Place is clean love the plants that’s sitting on the window. And of course Foods are DELICIOUS. We waited for a little since she’s the only cook at moment but I’m telling it is worth to wait. When you come in don’t forget to try the Chicken eggrolls. YUMMY!

What a hidden gem in small town Iowa. I frequent Thai, Korean, Vietnamese, & Szechuan restaurants so this was a great find! Everything we ate was very flavorful and fresh tasting, well portioned and affordable. Most dishes are offered with a choice of protein including tofu. Unique twists on familiar dishes. The menu has a variety of Asian foods that should satisfy most people. The Thai tea is out of this world! We will be back often! Support local businesses!

Besides being that their food is awesome!! If you havent, this place is a must! The service is one of a kind. Most places for large orders you have to call in with time. The owner took my order being it was last minute, didnt rush thr order and made it great. Idk I have nothing but positive to say. Thank you Saap Saap!

Everything was amazing! All fresh ingredients and great flavors. The laap and papaya salads were refreshing and the flat noodle dishes had a great Smokey wok hei flavor. We will definitely come back.

This place is amazing. I would never have imagined finding such authentic uncompromised Southeast Asian flavor tugged along highway 6 in Iowa. This is by far the best Thai place in the Iowa City area (they serve a bit Laotian flavor and Pho too). I first knew about it from the Little Village magazine (still called Lao Cafe at the time) and have been back many many times. I tried almost everything on the menu and they are just all so delicious. If this place is located in a big city it will be packed out every night.

This is more of a note to self to not come back. Not authentic. Don’t like when restaurants make laab/larb with ground beef. Papaya salad had no authentic flavor. Cilantro pepper is basicaly water. 2 stars bc my hubby thought the pad see ew was decent bit I didnt eat it.
