so first of all don’t let that one ⭐️ review from 2 months ago stop you from going here! First of all we are not in Italy this is an old school Italian American corner. deli it’s as North side of endicott as you can get “little Italy .”
the woman working I think was one of the owners was very nice it was my birthday and was looking for tiramisu they did not have any but had a lot of other stuff I ended up getting Reggiano and some fettuccine for my birthday dinner, she directed me to another place up the street where I could find it.
as for other customers there was a cute husband and wife having lunch and her birthday was the day before, we had a but lovely banter about our birthdays.
if your looking for old school deli charm this little corner deli has it!
you can tell that years of love and hard work have gone in to this place.
the sad truth is during shut down a lot of these awesome mom and pops did not survive,
wich speaks volumes igor the ones that did during those trying times.
I don’t know if it is just me but I think they deserve all the credit!
as for not real Italian bred you can’t get more Italian American then Romas bread it is a house hold staple in most of endicott.

Back in 1967 when I was a kid, this was the little corner store where I spent the quarters that I stole from my mom’s purse. It directly contributed to my lifetime of fighting obesity. Now as a skinny retiree, I drove 4,000 mi from home just come visit this little deli and celebrate having overcome childhood. Upon entering, I expected to be surrounded by tons of penny candy. But noooooooo, it’s a deli! Like, a real deli deli. So I got myself an ice cream sandwich, the 99 cent kind from the cooler. Symbolically, there’s a lot going on here. It was chocolate chocolate, not chocolate vanilla, like ice cream sandwiches are supposed to be, an excellent representation of how black and white things are not these days.

Ordered half sub of the day. Got it home and ate it. I was starving. Sandwich was DRENCHED in garlic. I mean a massive amount of garlic. Could not taste the meat and cheese. Also, roll didn’t seem deep enough to hold the sub. Very, very friendly folks nice service. BUT the sub was AWASH with garlic. I didn’t see it adverted as “garlic atom bomb”. I like garlic but this was insane.
Called to let them know about garlic, dude said it is in giardianiri and roasted peppers. I make these and the have 4 CLOVES in recipe combined. If you love garlic this is it. Otherwise ASK how many pounds of garlic go in thier recipes.
He offered refund, which was nice. Who saturates their roasted peppers with garlic?
Gent also commented that the deli meats have garlic. Mortedella, prosciutto, and sopressetta. These are NOT garlicky.

Cash only, atm inside. Great sub, didn’t skimp on the mayo and sub sauce like everyone else does. What’s normal here would be extra anywhere else. So it’s definitely not a dry sub and that’s a win. The guy behind the counter was pleasant.

I got the frozen chicken parm dinner for a very generous price, brought it home and warmed it up. And it was absolutely amazing. Some of the best chicken parm I’ve ever had. I have also had there Italian sub and mac and cheese and they were delicious as well. Also the owner is very friendly and welcoming. 10/10 small business
