The restaurant is fine, especially the waiter Todd- he’s great. But the deli around the back is awful! The last time I was there, I got 3 medium cold salads they were sour and the veggies were rotting. That was $40 worth of bad salads. This time, I went for breaded eggplant. 4 pieces -$15 and they refused to let me use my debit card. Said I must buy a minimum of $20 worth to use a card. This used to be a great quick place to go for food on the way home from work. Unfortunately, I will not be going there again.

Off to Ruvo on St Patrick’s Day for lunch! The interior and exterior have changed and are more modern than before. I was very happy to see all the artwork has been enhanced and moved around in the soft green colored rooms. No Irish music for mood, only contemporary. We began with two delicious bloody Marys, followed by potato leek soup which was delicious. We ordered our Saint Patrick’s Day classic corned beef with small potatoes, cabbage and small carrot. Lunch portion. We had the chocolate mousse cake for dessert. The bill including the tip was $94. Everything was nice, but a little pricey. I could have used another drink after the bill. We will return another time for regular lunch specials.

I went to Runo on Saturday for lunch with my husband, our 6 months old and my niece. The lady who greeted us at the door was so nice. The food was delicious. However, I had an unfortunate experience with the service. The waiter was not friendly and accidentally spilled water on me while pouring it into the glass. What disappointed me further was the lack of an apology. Additionally, when collecting the plate, the waiter dropped vegetables on the floor next to me, resulting in sauce splattering on me once again, without any apologies offered. For these reasons, I wouldn’t go back nor recommend it to anyone.

We always have a meal at Ruvo when we visit from Kansas City. Food is always great, as is the prompt service. Recent changes to the flooring and layout have made the restaurant brighter. Big recommendation.

My husband and I just got married on July 15, 2023 and used Ruvo for the Reception. From day 1, when I spoke with Brian over the phone I knew this was the place for our reception. We’ve been coming here for years and love their warm atmosphere, great food, and friendly first-class customer service. Brian was always willing to speak with us whenever we called and we had amazing in-person meetings. Ruvo was so flexible with all the items we brought in for our wedding. They set everything up and made it looks so beautiful. The staff are just so friendly and we all had such a great time. I would not only recommend this for a wedding reception, but Ruvo is our favorite Italian food place too. Thank you Brian and Ruvo for making our wedding day so special. All of our guests said your restaurant is amazing and lovely staff and service too.
