Amazing food, love the atmosphere. A lot bigger than I expected. Looks small from the outside and then you step in and it’s so roomy. Loved the decor, the service was excellent the food was great. Got Rothys Gravy Omelette. Was delicious. Their home fries were well cooked and tasted bacony. YUMMM!! Thank you for an amazing breakfast. Only thing was they didn’t have any flavored creamer. Just plain half and half. They ran out. Other wise it was a great experience.

Love love this place, one of my fave top 3 breakfast spots in Nsb!
It’s reallyy busy and can have a line on the mornings but totally worth it. This is a small diner with big heart, love all the wait staff and chatting with them although they are always on the run!! It’s an open diner Floorplan, busyyyyt and a little noisy but not so much you can’t hear each other talking.
The food is delish. I love their hashbrown breakfast, and their gravy and biscuit half size meal. The prices are SO REASONABLE!! They also have an early bird breakfast 7-9 am that’s under $3!
They are known for their blueberry lemon stuffed pancakes but those are REALLY SWEET, I’m not a fan! However there’s so many choices that there’s literally something for everyone.
Regardless of how swamped the staff is they always tell your choice, check on you, and the food comes out pretty fast. My order is never been wrong, I really love this place as my go to in Nsb!
Parking is super crowded, and the only hard part some days but I’ve always been able to find something.
Try this place out, it’s a local fave!

Woe. This place gets real busy on the weekends. We were lucky and got a parking spot right in front and sat at the counter immediately. No waiting. Or waitress, Jessica, was really nice. She took our order and brought out drinks. The kitchen was quick. We got our order in just a few mins. I ordered the Micky, and my wife got the 2 pancakes, eggs, and bacon. My order had 2 big biscuits and gravy (I did give her some of my biscuit), 2 eggs, and bacon.
I turned to look at the restaurant, and the line had started to grow. We missed the rush by 5 mins. BTW, we’ve been here about 15 mins by now and have our food in front of us. These guys were hustling and helping each other.
The food was better than most places we have been to. The service was quick. The people were very nice. We went a long way and will do it again next weekend. Everything was excellent.

I want to preface this by saying I have been here to eat roughly 20 times. I’ve never experienced an issue before. This morning, my husband and I went to eat breakfast, which was good, and my server was fantastic. I did witness a worker, seat a table of 6, and I fully admit I did not hear the interaction between that table and the worker. However the worker went to the booth directly next to the one I was sitting at and stated something about patience, and “wanting to throat punch some people.” I found that highly inappropriate, and asked the server who the manager on duty was. To my great surprise, the manager on duty was the one who said the throat punch comment to the booth next to mine. The manager approached my table and my first question was “are you having a bad day?” She stated she was and I informed her I heard her comment to the next booth. She brushed me off saying she knew the party at the booth next to mine and that was a private conversation. If it was a private conversation, I wouldn’t have been able to hear. I also work in customer service and find that highly unprofessional as a representative to the business. I still rated food and service 5 stars as it was, but today’s atmosphere was unprofessional by the manager on duty. As a manager you have a higher standard to abide by, and setting the example.

Our go to place for breakfast in new Smyrna Beach is Ruthies Kozy Kitchen. You will be quite surprised to find the atmosphere like one of your nostalgic diners that we so miss. The entire staff is very pleasant and are very eager to serve you. Some of the waitresses even run around the place as if they can’t serve you fast enough. We have been There several times And have always had an outstanding breakfast At a very fair price for the times that we are living in. You can get a two egg breakfast home fries and toast for 7.99. Today I had The combo which included French toast (3), two eggs and two sausage patties. And yes, the eggs came out the way I ordered them. Always over me for me.! Don’t forget the whole fries because they make them on site. I am including two pictures one of the breakfast I had and the other one is the waffle. Unfortunately, I was hungry and started eating it before I took the picture.
Probably have been here more than 20 times now and I have never had a bad meal yet.

Loved the loaded home fries. Bacon ham onions and sausage gravy. It’s a meal in itself. We came here twice in one week.

We had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, but it was well worth the wait. The food was great. They have a large selection, and are true to Southern Cooking. The wait staff are friendly and efficient. This was our 1st visit, and we will go back again.

First time at Ruthie’s by a recommendation of our daughter. Food was delicious, home fries were our favorite item, fresh sliced potatoes with Montreal seasoning. Audrey our server was very friendly, fast and helped sit others as well. Fair price for a great breakfast.
