This is one of my favorite restaurants in Berks County. I was grateful when they added the additional dining area, it makes it feel more open and makes it easy to talk with family. My husband and I enjoy the seasonal/weekly special options, both food and beer. I am sad when a seasonal favorite rotates off, I am eagerly awaiting the return of their chicken and waffles- if it’s been back since I had it several years ago, I’ve missed it every time.

The drinks are great, the food on the other hand was alright. The fried pickles did not taste right to me, and I am not one to be picky with my food. The fried pickles were raw and I had the suspicion that they tasted funny so I cut some of them open and the batter was oozing out. Not good at all. I also had the jalepeno popper burger, hoping it would be good. There was not much flavor at all. I can’t say I’d visit back here for dinner time. Maybe just drinks.

I have been here several times and have always enjoyed it. Service is great and they have a great selection of beers. Unfortunately this time the food we got was lacking quality. The brussel sprouts were presented nicely, but they simply were not cooked all the way through. We also got the shrimp and chicken skewers and again was presented nicely but shrimp was tough and the description said comes on a bed of roasted vegetables but was basically all on quinoa. All in all I would still come back but maybe plan to order more pub style food like burgers, wings, fries, etc.

Great Atmosphere…..like my brother mentioned several times it’s like the Cheers the tv sitcom. Good eats, flavorful hearty portions, leaps and bounds above your average bar menu. Prompt, friendly service that was very attentive to our wants and needs.

Diverse menu. Had liberty rice with tempura chicken. Fantastic. Wife had the lobster grilled cheese. She raved how much lobster was in there. Well done

Burgers were delicious , perfectly cooked. French dip also delicious and their truffle fries were the tastiest we’ve ever had. Bloody Mary’s were well done , service excellent , and prices more than fair. If we lived closer we’d be there more often.

You would pass this place if you didn’t know it existed. Pretty large bar area, kind of on the dark side. It’s not light and bright inside. They do have outdoor seating. The menu isn’t gigantic; which helps when deciding what you want. The food came out quickly, it was hot and tasted good. Our waitress was very good, polite and knowledgeable. The French fries are amazing.

Definitely had a tasty experience that will bring me back to this place again and again. I had the Thai Chicken Tacos with Vegetable Eggrolls . The menu has a nice selection of choices so I’ll be back with more reviews.
This is my second review: I needed a quick and delicious meal and Liberty Ale House provided! I had Vegetable Eggrolls for starters and followed up with Thai Chicken Tacos just like my first visit. It was a very simple order, and I loved how fast my meal was served! I always choose to sit at the bar, and I always receive great service and attention to my needs. The prices are definitely reasonable. I can’t comment on the drinks because currently I don’t consume alcohol but they have an impressive bar and drinks menu. I highly recommend this location.
