Tammy our entertainment coordinator was attentive, thorough and extremely helpful. We had 40 people celebrating my daughter’s 30th birthday.
India along with the other girls were also attentive, friendly and very professional!
Our private bartender was AWESOME!!
The service was top-notch!
The food was outstanding!
The drinks on point & delicious!
Thank you for a memorable evening, we will be back!
The atmosphere was beautiful!
The staff were truly wonderful!!
We lucked up and got there for the last day of restaurant week. Many of us got the steak and EVERYONE was pleased with their food.
Loved the fact that they asked about allergies and had special bread brought out that was allergen-free.
The brown butter Moscow mule was DELICIOUS. Everyone’s drinks were smoked perfectly.
Valet was $10, which is MUCH better than the pay by camera parking lot that’s across the walkway
We came to Ruth’s Chris in Baltimore expecting an upscale evening. The appetizers were mediocre at best, but the real disaster happened when our entrées arrived. The server dropped an entire chicken dish, splashing hot oil all over my family. My partner had oil on his face, eyes, and shirt. My son’s leather jacket was covered. I myself had burns across my chest. The server muttered “sorry” and ran off, leaving us stunned.
I went to the restroom to clean up and was approached by a manager who looked more annoyed than apologetic. Her solution? “Send us the bill for dry cleaning.” I told her we weren’t that petty. What we actually needed was compassion and professionalism.
Meanwhile, my poor server was crying, and I actually had to calm her down—because apparently, management wasn’t stepping up. When I returned to my table, things only got worse: the tablecloth had not been changed, and it looked like they had simply placed the same entrées back onto the dirty, oil-soaked table. I was horrified.
By that point, we were shaken and just asked for the food to be packed up. Yes, the chicken was taken off the bill, but that’s hardly the point. No new table, no fresh linens, no genuine care or recovery effort. I had to ask for an ice pack for my burns.
We still paid and tipped (out of fairness to the staff), but this was an absolutely terrible evening. The server was nice but abandoning the table after scalding us was not acceptable. Management handled this entire situation with indifference and zero hospitality.
For a restaurant that prides itself on being “upscale,” this was disgraceful. There are plenty of steakhouses in Baltimore—do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Never again.
We ordered three menues including Filet Mignon but unfortunatly the meat was overcooked.
As soon as the waitress noticed we got new meals, icluding new sides as well.
Additionally we got one of the three meals for free for the unconvenience.
The food was realy good, the menue was suprisingly affordable and as mentioned above, the service was realy exceptional.
We can absolutely recommend the restaurant and would visit again.
The steak (highly recommended) was delivered raw; far from medium done, as I’d ordered. It appeared as if the chef hadn’t even bothered to do his job. The lack of care in preparing the hot plate delivered to our table was abysmal. The temperature of the butter was far too high, spraying and burning me. I couldn’t even move the plate without acquiring additional injuries! The sides were disappointing: mashed potatoes drowned in butter and lacking any real flavor, and stale soup-of-the-day gumbo.
On the whole, it has been a mixed experience, but the quality of food has been a disappointment, especially considering the price tag. I hope they are able to work on the consistency of the kitchen in the future.
Bread and water took at least 20min and when it was time to go it was probably another 20min to get boxes, and when they came they were just sat on the waitress table behind us. My brother got up after a while and handed them out himself. Then another wait for the check… then a huge mistake in payments. The bill was around $650, $200 was meant to go on one card and the rest on another. $200 was charged to the first card and the full tab was charged to the second card. This was fixed by the manager. We were sat around 7:30 and didn’t leave until around 10:30pm.
We were sat seperately, 5 on one table and 5 on another. In contrast the five family members who sat at a different table received great service. Their bread and water came out way ahead of ours and their server joked and talked to them. They did have a few issues with food being incorrect due to the kitchen running out of ingredients, but those orders were taken off the bill so no big deal there. Most important to me is being treated well. I expect steakhouse service if I’m paying steakhouse prices. We frequent steakhouses, so we know what to expect, maybe our jovial tone made the waiter think otherwise?
