Great little place. Very kind service. I had the prime rib dip and lobster bisque. Both were excellent. The bloody Mary was thick and spicy. Perfect. Will definitely eat here again.

The halibut portion was a bit small for the price, but the clams were very fresh and delicious. I sat on the patio with a wonderful atmosphere and a beautiful view of Mount Rainier from my table. We really enjoyed being here. The servers and bartenders greeted everyone with warm smiles, which made the experience feel very welcoming.

Real fun place to hang out and have a beer and get some bites. Fantastic atmosphere can sit inside or outside. The staff is absolutely amazing just super friendly really focused on the customer.

I was here with my niece, it was just ok. I had the halibut and fries. Ok, it was kind of dry. My niece had the macaroni and cheese with garlic toast. That was good, but you get very little for the price. Our waiter was ok, he didn’t know much about the drinks, he kept saying I don’t know?

The food was fast and the service was just plain odd. Maybe you were expecting more because we had just been to Bowen Island. British Columbia with the service was absolutely amazing. We inquired about beer, but seem like the server was in such a hurry we skipped and just had water …… the fish and chips was amazing and the coleslaw was probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Overall or experience at the ale House was good in our trip to Kingston was a success.

Update! Went with a friend today and got a bloody mary and ribeye steak. The steak was PHENOMENAL. Genuinely the best steak I have had in Washington.

We were initially excited to dine at this restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. While the food itself was satisfactory, the service was quite disappointing. Our waiter rushed us to place our order despite the fact that we were dining with a child, and the bill was presented immediately after we finished our meal, which made the entire experience feel rushed and unwelcoming.
At one point, we even felt a sense of discrimination in the way we were treated compared to other guests, which made the situation even more uncomfortable.
Due to the poor service, we chose not to leave a tip. However, the following day, I was notified by my bank that the amount charged was $20 more than the total shown on our receipt (the discrepancy can be verified by comparing the restaurant bill with the transaction record).
Overall, what could have been an enjoyable dining experience was overshadowed by the lack of professionalism in service.

Me and two others stopped here while waiting for our ferry. Great food and price is fair for the quality. A very nice woman (maybe the owner) waited on us. Very friendly and attentive.

This place was so nice! All the staff was kind and the food was delicious. The prices were a bit expensive but for the atmosphere, the view, and the quality of food; it is worth it. There was something for everyone, which we appreciated. We will be returning in the future.
