Stopped in for a snack after a walking the trails … did not disappoint. We had the cherry strudel and the everything croissant. The croissant was amazing. Be sure to have it warmed up so the cream cheese filling gets a little melted. Delish!

Great selection of pastries and espresso. My almond croissant was a bit soggy on the bottom but the normal croissant was good. Relaxing dining area thats inspired by outdoor Parisian cafes.

Perfect little shop! Fresh bread and pastries and homemade quiche. We loved all the food. The coffee was good and the hospitality from the barista was top notch. She was so patient and helped us decide then brought it out to us.

My husband and I visited here for the first time today. First impression: Very friendly baristas, exceptional pastries (check out their 50% pastry boxes!), calm and lovely atmosphere for a Sunday morning coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We also loved their music selection!

This has been a repeated disappointment since it changed ownership, from Bonaparte Breads to this. I used to come here for the absolutely decadent almond croissants. Once it changed ownership, I gave them 3 separate tries in the following 6 months. I’m not sure how you can make a wet croissant but that’s how I got them–floppy, literally soaking on the bottom, and definitely skimpy on the almond paste.

If you’re looking for top quality food and excellent service – look no further. Everyone in our office always fights over the delicious, fresh baked goods. Try the croissants!

I miss Bonaparte so much. I decided to try Rustiq again and still disappointing. Way overpriced for what you get. Pastries ($7 each) are just OK. Chocolate croissants ($4 each) are not made with butter and are more what you would find in a grocery store. The only reason i gave 2 stars was for their baguette ($4). Nice flavor, but a bit overcooked and way too short.

Not inconvenient but a bit out of the way in the Savage Mill (off Route 1 near Route 32), and not the most diverse menu for someone in search of a complicated meal, however, they offer a cozy ambience, sufficient variety and all is tasty: what they do offer is done well and tastefully. The selection of breads and their qualities alone make this worth the stop. The pastries are fresh, and are among the best to be found in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. Their Mille-feuille (Napoleon) is among the better ones I’ve found in the US. Vive la différence!

I’ve visited this bakery 3x and it seems like each time I’ve visited, the employees were so confused and unsupervised. The croissants are always fantastic, I just wish the customer service was the same.
