This Italian place truly exceeded all expectations! The portions are incredibly generous – every plate feels like it was made with love and meant to be shared. The food is bursting with authentic flavors, and you can tell that only the freshest, most natural ingredients are used. Everything tasted so rich and delicious, it instantly transported us to Italy. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, but what really made our visit unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and I especially want to mention the gentleman at the register – his friendly smile and thoughtful service made us feel genuinely cared for. It’s rare to find a place that combines such amazing food with such heartfelt hospitality. We will definitely come back again and again!

Got a slice of the BBQ pizza, order of garlic knots and the Burrata Dip.
Burrito dip was great, portion was large, ingredients were fresh.
Slice of BBQ pizza was the size of my fiances head. The BBQ sauce had a decent tang to it. The chicken was a tad rubbery. Great flavor and crust crisp-Ness.
Garlic knots were loaded with a metric ton of minced garlic… I like garlic… probably more than the average person… however there was a packed half cup of minced garlic dumped on it. After scraping off 50% of the minced garlic off, it was super enjoyable! AGAIN, huge portion. Definitely a share-with-friends appitizer!
*** Atmosphere was lacking… alot of the chairs and booths were torn and in need of repair. The air was damp smelling, similar to lawndry left in the washer for a day too long… IYKYK
This was our first time in Texas, so seeing a fast scurrying cockroach by the entrance was a little alarming. Maybe that is on par for a regular day in Texas?? I thought I was gonna find Wall-E in the pizza joint.

Looking for a place for a quick bite to eat we decided to give Russo’s a try. From the outside it does not look like much but inside we found it nicely decorated and with an attentive polite server. We ordered our pizza slices and sat down to a not so long wait before our pizza slices arrived. To be honest they were larger than I thought and we enjoyed it all.

This review is a bit late, but I just wanted to thank this resturant so much! Back in October, we had a “backyard beach wedding” and Russo’s delivered and took a large order with ease.
Communication was easy, a relief since we were planning this wedding out of state, as we called and had all our questions answered. When we stated that we would like to place a large order for delivery for 30+ people it was no problem. They took our order and requested we call a week before the event to ensure it was all good. When we called back there was no problem.
We were outside of their delivery range and we offered to pay extra fees if they could deliver or we would have someone meet them at the furthest distance they’d be willing to go and they stated they would deliver, no extra charges.
The food itself was amazing. We had the Greek salad, garden salad, 6 different pizzas and 3 pasta trays. It was easily enough food for our guests and it was absolutely delicious. I cannot reccomend this place enough for events if you are wanting good food, but not on site catering.

Lots of old photos. Italian music playing in the back ground. You get your own drinks and they bring out your food. They staff checked on us multiple times. Pri tip** share ur food!!! The portions we saw were way to much for one person. We spent $68.00. Truffle Garlic knotts, one slice cheese pizza, one Stromboli Calzone, one New York Calzone, and 2 sodas. We took half of everything to go. They also have a sign that says they deliver to the beach!

We had heard great things about the place from a few picky eaters we know. Since we were hanging out in Galveston, we thought we would give it a try. Reserve judgments until you walk in, not by the outside appearance. It’s a nice building, but it doesn’t scream Italian food. Nicely decorated Italian interior. Food was great. I opted for the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and a slice of pepperoni to go for later. The pasta was cooked perfectly. I would have liked the chicken to have been blackened or grilled. It seemed like it had been boiled. It still tasted good. Overall, the Fettuccine Alfredo was very good, and the pizza I had later at home was excellent as well. Do yourself a favor and try it out. We were pleased.

The most important thing is that I was able to get in didn’t have to pay for parking!! All these people were nice. My girlfriend said best sprite.She has ever tasted out of a fountain drink dispenser, and the Dr. Pepper was delicious.
They’re fountain, drinks are on point.

Calzone has very little cheese in it. I wish I could take a picture and show you. Not even a half an inch thick.. and that includes the bread. Both ends 3 inches in are completely empty of cheese. We are out of state.. actually from Idaho and could hardly wait for southern italian cooking.. garlic knots have absolutely no garlic on them! At least my husband spaghetti was good.1 out of 3 isn’t bad I guess

I was really craving a melty kind of cheese pizza and Russo’s delivered it! The music was there and so was the service, appetizer and entree was delicious to their desserts. Ate and left now crumbs, I would come again with a bigger party to get that 28 inch pizza!
