Danny, started out in the pizza business when he was 14 years old. Since then, along with his wife, they continue to perfect the pizza business by using the freshest ingredients, the best cheese and homemade dough and sauces. Danny’s has achieved a lot of recognition since opening by supporting the community and charities around Manatee County. I’m being generous with 3 stars it’s really a 2 maybe 2.5. We keep giving Danny’s a second third fourth fifth try and it just hasn’t lived up to all the hype. Most recently ordered a sausage mushroom onion well done and it was all flop. When you order well done you expect a crisp dark crust but not burnt. They just can’t get it.

We’ve been coming here every year for vacation for about 4–5 years now. We actually stumbled upon this place by accident on our very first trip, hungry and passing by, and we instantly fell in love. The atmosphere and food were phenomenal, and it quickly became a tradition for us. Every year since, we’ve ordered multiple times during our stay and have spent hundreds of dollars here. It’s truly been our favorite pizza spot, worth the extra drive.
Unfortunately, this year’s experience was extremely disappointing. When we placed our order, one of the items was missing. My dad went to pick everything up, and when we realized the mistake, we called and were given the runaround before finally being told we could come back to get the missing item, with just $5 off. After making the drive again, we got home only to discover the pizza was completely burnt and inedible.
It’s incredibly sad and frustrating to have our family tradition end on this note, but the service and quality this time were unacceptable. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Great Delivery, Excellent Calzones
I rented a home in Bradenton for my son’s wedding and ordered from Danny’s Pizzeria the day we arrived. With a house full of family, delivery timing and food quality were important—and they did not disappoint.
The food arrived hot and right on time, which was a huge plus after a long travel day. The family-size calzones were amazing and absolutely perfect for sharing. I would highly recommend ordering those if you’re feeding a group.
The gravy (tomato sauce) was also very good—thick and a deep dark red color, which we truly appreciated, especially being from New Jersey where we take our sauce seriously.
We also ordered a variety of hot sub sandwiches. While they were perfectly fine and satisfying, there wasn’t anything particularly special about them.
Overall, we would definitely order from Danny’s again, and I want to reassure anyone considering delivery—don’t worry at all. The food was hot, the delivery was prompt, and the calzones alone are worth the order.

Came to Danny’s one of my first nights in the area and went back three more times during the trip. Best pizza in the area. A personal favorite was also the Caesar salad. Fresh, homemade, and lots of flavor. Everything on the menu we tried was delicious. This place is a family favorite because of the great atmosphere and fantastic food, happy I got to try it too. Will definitely be going back and would recommend to anyone interested!

One of the best pizzas I have had. When I went to pick it up the staff were super friendly. I asked about specials and she said I could look on Facebook or just give them a call. She was so nice and sincere it makes me want to come back. Great customer service makes the food even better.

Mom wanted pizza for today so I told her I was gonna get it from a new place for us, a place that’s supposed to be NY style. WELL, in no way were we disappointed!! When I delivered moms pizza to her I had her peak under the lid and she said “Oh my, yum yum” she’s 81 and I’m back at my place enjoying a slice of the BEST pizza I’ve found so far here in SW Florida!! I ate NY style pizza for over 30 yrs before moving down here, it’s taken me almost 5 yrs to find the real deal, Danny’s pizza is just that!!

Wings are breaded and soggy and gross. Cheese pizza barely has cheese on it. Mozzarella sticks were nearly $10 for 5 Arby’s quality gross sticks. The pepperoni roll was decent. I heard good things about this place but I’d never try it again. Gross and a waste of $50. Go to San Remo much better.

Very friendly! Even before you get in the door, there is a desk outside, greeting you and taking you to your table. The garlic knots are to die for! We got a supreme. It was phenomenal. The crust is very different, but very tasty! Everything was reasonably priced.
Our server, Vivian, was very attentive and very friendly and professional! When we’re back in the area, this will be on our list.

The pizza was delicious, very flavorful! The server was very attentive. There was a bit of a wait, surprising since it was a Sunday night. But apparently it’s quite popular. Would definitely eat here again!
