Mumbai Cafe is an excellent restaurant with amazing food and a great atmosphere. The staff are very kind, polite, and treat everyone with genuine hospitality. Their paan is absolutely fabulous and super tasty definitely a must-try!
The overall experience was wonderful, and to make it even more exciting, Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey has also visited Mumbai Cafe, which shows how popular it is!
Highly recommended for delicious food, good service, and a memorable dining experience. ️✨

Visited this place once and had Pan which is fantastic and I would rate it on the top PANs here in Chicago.

Have not tried food here except pan.

Pushpa would’ve had peelings for this pan. Fabulous!!

One negative is, hygiene. The person making pan had no gloves and also when I asked for dine in, the person gave it with bare hands. Disappointing…

The ambience is great with good seating and I don’t think this place can help for a group seating more than 6-8.

I absolutely love visiting Mumbai Cafe! Their dahi puri is awesome and full of flavor. All the sandwiches are too good, fresh, and delicious every single time. I come here often and they never disappoint me.
The paans are amazing—I actually come here especially for their paans because they are the best! The atmosphere is warm, and the owners are very friendly, which makes every visit even better.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty food, great service, and a truly satisfying experience! ✨

Ordered pani puri here with high expectations, but the pani was very disappointing. They served it straight from the fridge in a plastic cup, which completely killed the taste. Pani puri water should be fresh and flavorful – tangy, spicy, and refreshing – not cold and bland like stored water. Even slightly heating it before serving would have been better. Overall, the taste was flat and nowhere close to pani puri.

I’ve been coming to Mumbai Café for over 10 years now, and it’s still one of my favorite spots. The food has always been consistent, full of flavor, and reminds me of home every time. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they really make you feel like part of the family.

It’s hard to find a place that keeps up the same quality and service for so long, but Mumbai Café has never let me down. Whether I’m grabbing a quick bite or bringing friends and family, it’s always a great experience. Truly a place that’s stood the test of time!

Visited the place after 6 years.
Items used to be tasty in those days, now they aren’t that good.
Vada pav was served with chips and onion and cold green chilli, never knew it was served that way, Vada was definitely not fresh. I am not coming back again.

This is some of the Indian street food at its best. I really enjoy coming to this restaurant because everything on their menu taste great. They have a good variety of options for food, dessert, and paan. A must try if you are tired of naan, curry, and rice and want something different and light.

Stopped here to get some tea for the family. We brought in a flask to get some tea and asked them to fill it. The tea was okay but nothing spectacular. The other food options although we didn’t try but looked interesting. Ambience and vibe was good and would love to give it another shot some day and try their food.

We came for just some chai but this place really reminded us of back home in Mumbai.

They had all of the local Mumbai street nostalgically foods. From pav baji to all the different chaats.

A lot of great Indian flavor ice creams. Their paan flavors were unique.

The decorations of the restaurant was really nice with a place with chaarpais to sit and do ghup chup over some chai.
