We each had the lumberjack and it was too much for one person. We also tried the mini biscuits with cream. ALL the Food was delicious, waitress was awesome!! Cups for coffee were too big, 16oz. The coffee is cold before you can drink it. Our waitress was so good she heated us another cup prior to filling it with coffee which did help. Truly a 4.5 star due to coffee cup size.
My daughter ordered the grilled cheese sandwich from the kids’ menu. The plate arrived with two huge pieces of bread and cheese. They were very plain and boring looking. For the price, it could easily be made more fun and inviting by cutting the sandwich into squares and triangles (geometric shapes), and serving it with a few cherry tomatoes and carrot sticks. That little touch would make it much more enjoyable for kids.
Another detail is the use of wooden boards for food. While they look nice, large plates would be a more hygienic and practical choice for meals. The boards could be reserved for drink presentation, where they work well.
Otherwise, everything was pleasant. The coffee was tasty, the service and atmosphere were good. But they should consider cutting the size of portions and making the menu slightly more affordable, with a presentation that feels more cute, fun, and desirable.
I went all out and tried the famous handcrafted biscuit, the Turkey BLT, and some French Toast that was so good it’s probably illegal in other states. The food is the real deal and everything was seriously savory, and tasted so ridiculously fresh, it felt like it had been grown five feet from my table.
My only tiny beef (pun intended) is that the portion sizes are a little… well, they left me wanting more. However, as someone who helps people with their biggest purchases, I get it..tight markets mean tight margins, and you have to make things work. The quality ingredients are worth it.
Honestly, this place is a hidden gem. It’s the kind of spot you’ll want to buy a house near. Highly recommend!
We reserved our table online so when we got there our table was ready and no wait.
Food and drinks were delicious as always. Tried the Land Of The Free French toast. Absolutely fantastic! After devouring the toast, I enjoyed the Salmon Rush Bowl. Very clean and healthy, and still rich in flavor. Mackenzie was very sweet and took good care of us. Can’t wait to come back! ❤️
This place is a hole in a wall. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the drinks *chef kiss* totally recommend to eat here. Try the biscuits and gravy. Delicious.
