Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

Haven’t had Runza in many years. Came back to visit and decided to stop by and have some. Everything tasted great. Sandwich was good, chicken tenders were delicious, fries were good, little on the salty side but for me I like that. Thank you.

I had the weirdest experience there tonight. I went through the drive thru. When I rolled down my window they said their normal greeting I said Hi and then I started looking at what I was going to order. Not even 30 seconds goes by and someone screamed at me “hello, do you want to eat?!” Then started making all these weird sounds. I was so uncomfortable and taken back that I couldn’t even order at that point. So I just said, no thank you and left.

The service at this location is awful…. My husband and I stopped to get 2 ice cream cones and a few cookies. They were short a cookie. No big deal.. can we just get a refund? Nope… the lady at the window just stared as us.. then asked if we wanted it back on our card. We literally had just gave her cash.. she closed the window and continued to stand there and do nothing. We left.. our sanity was worth more than a couple bucks for a cookie. No apologies or nothing.. we keep continuing to give this location a chance.. every time the service sucks.. we won’t back for a long while.

I stopped at this location in Elkhorn worst service I have experienced in a long time. I ordered burgers for my kids and husband. With was supposed to be fresh large fries the burgers was made wrong and super greasy. The fries were brown I pulled back around to get the ordered corrected. The guy at the window laughed with other workers after I told him what was wrong with the order. He came back to the window and said to me that he can correct one burger and I would have to pay money again for fresh fries. That wasn’t fresh when I got them in the first place. The fries was brown, salty and greasy. The kid just kept laughing and closing the window to talk to the other staff about the issue. Once girl came and looked out the window at me and my kids. Then went back around the corner. The guy opens the window and said to me here’s your new burger I said the issue wasn’t just one burger it’s the fries to. He told me okay so do you want to speak to the manager I said yes. The manager came I explain to him and showed him the fries and burgers that was wrong he said well all the fries are the same size. He also said to me that the company the fries come from the color depends on the company and how they ship them. I been eating Runza all my life with my mom and grandmother I know how those fries look when they are fresh. He said they just came out the grease so they are fresh. So fresh fries is brown huh? Okay I told him at that point just take the whole order back I don’t want it give me my money back so he says at that point well you don’t want any free food you just want your money back I said yes. He snatched the food out my hand and the receipt. Then I asked do you need the card I paid with he said yeah. I have never in my life had bad service like that not from any restaurant. They was rude and laughed the whole time even my little kids said they can see them laughing and said that was rude. I will be reaching out to corporate about the service. I feel like we was treated bad because of our race I feel very disrespected. Never again will I go to this location I will not stop here I will be going above and beyond for the disrespect the kids should have never witnessed bad service like that. I paid almost 55 dollars for bad food and horrible horrible horrible service

One of the best fast food chains in the area. They have some of the best burgers as they are all handmade and they offer several options. The crinkle fries are crisp and well seasoned. This location recently opened and was very clean. The restaurant is smaller than others so it might get crowded during peak times. Thus location is easy to get to and easily seen from hwy 6. The food comes fast and fresh and there are plenty of people working. Great place for a quick bite.
