Stopped in for Lunch for the 1st time since moving to the area in December. I had a Cheeseburger and fries while my daughter had a double Cheeseburger and the mac and cheese bites that she really enjoyed. Portions were great and servers were Friendly. We will be back again. Always friendly staff and excellent food..

I love the food and staff at Rumors. Probably one of my most visited restaurants. Waitresses are busy but good at what they do. Chelsey and Ashley are a hoot as always and Aimee is super friendly and chill. Definitely recommend eating here if you have or haven’t already, it never disappoints! Also, food is very reasonably priced and you should not leave hungry! Just make sure to bring cash or check as there is not option for debit/credit cards

I had the breaded tenderloin. Prepared well, hot and delicious.
Bigger than the bun so I had a sammich for tomorrow. Cheese nuggets for my side was a little sparse for the price. Friend ordered the taco salad, generous amount of beef and toppings. It doesn’t come in a fried tortilla bowl. Big plate full.
Beer could of been colder.
I’ll stop again, if in the neighborhood, not a destination place to seek out.

I apologize, I didn’t look at the price of the cheese balls, my friend was paying and it didn’t matter. I guessed it was 8 bucks like every other place.
As for the taco salad bowl, he has gluten allergies too, so it wasn’t needed, it was perfect.
Btw, I put my beer in the freezer for a bit, I’m spoiled.

It’s exactly what the name says Bar and Grill, enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries both were very good. A very thick burger patty don’t order a double unless you haven’t eaten in a week!
Staff was awesome, place was clean overall a great place to grab a bite if ever passing through Mt. Ayr!
