The Early Bite — or as I like to call it, The Overhyped Bite. Trendy, crowded, and apparently fueled by Instagram rather than scratch cooking. The food was okay — tasty enough — but the portions were small, and the prices seemed to assume I was dining on a rooftop in Paris, not in a side alley.
My matcha latte had potential but zero balance — all grass, no grace. The regular latte was equally meh, more like coffee-scented milk. The Shakshuka was decent but nothing to write home about, and the blueberry pancakes (which everyone raves about) lost some magic once I noticed their “secret ingredient”: Golden Malted pancake mix, spotted upstairs near the restroom along with a lineup of pre-bought ingredients and juices. Mystery solved.
Which brings me to the biggest question: if nothing’s made from scratch, why does it take 30 minutes for the food to arrive? Maybe the wait time is part of the experience — slow food meets pre-mix café chic.
To be fair, the service was friendly, and the vibe was fine if you like dining al fresco in a blah alley with a side of hype.
Bottom line: decent flavors, kind staff, but more style than substance. If you’re chasing trendy brunch photos, it delivers. If you’re chasing real scratch clean cooking, keep walking.

No wait on a Monday morning. Excellent Service! and the food was just perfect my favorite was the Shakshuka, such a flavorful and unique dish. Definitely an unexpected surprise in the heart of Bar Harbor. Would highly recommend this place for a casual delicious breakfast experience. Two thumbs up

Wow the food here is amazing! We got the Pink Bliss smoothie, a caramel cappuccino, a bacon egg and cheese, and the chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious and our plates were clean by the end. The chicken and waffles was the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a great spot to try!

The friendliest server ever! Not to mention that the dishes are excellent! The blueberry pancake is fluffy and the blueberry sauce on top is made with fresh blueberries that added a tart flavor to balance with the sweet syrup. Chicken and waffle is crisp on the outside and juicy inside. Literally one of the best I’ve ever had. Love their latte and matcha as well. I have to say this is my favorite brunch place in Bar Harbor

Really wonderful staff and every item was delicious! The shakshuka is filled with flavor and so is the Turkish cilbir eggs! Both are a must try.
Blueberry pancakes are a tasty classic as well. The place has great coffee too so it’s the perfect brunch spot to hit up!

Delicious! My group all got the breakfast burrito, which is also up in a gluten-free wrap. It was fresh, hot, and not overly salty as some restaurant food is. It was really good! They offered us original, extra hot, and green pepper, hot sauce to go with our breakfast items.
Pleasant atmosphere, very clean and modern, with indoor and outdoor seating, excellent service, and great food. We came at 8:30 on a Wednesday during July and down not have a wait or any trouble parking.
The only recommendation I have is to turn the music volume down a little. Although no one else was I the restaurant we could not talk easily without talking over the music.

I never expected what I found at this incredible place. They present breakfast masterpieces. And they have real Turkish coffee. The staff is incredibly friendly and wonderfully kind. I have to confess that on my second stop in here, I ordered two breakfasts and I ate every bit. No fake syrup, real eggs and passion!

This breakfast spot is an absolute gem! The service is impeccable—there was no wait time at all, and the food was absolutely delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced. Chris, our server, was incredibly friendly and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

The place lived up to the expectations!!! Cute and cozy corner with great food! We ordered French toast and blueberry pancakes and couldn’t even finish it all!!! The hazelnut latte was extremely good.
