Ok this place has good food. The chicken tastes great and it’s not over-breaded. The crab rangoons and dipping sauce are great. I’d definitely eat here again.

Decent food for a mall food court. The shrimp was over cooked, but that is often the case. They don’t provide water cups. Pad Thai was pretty good. Very generous portion and served fresh.

I have gone to this place since it was put in the mall and I have never had a bad experience. The Bourbon chicken (reg and spicy) are TOP tier. Everything I’ve ever tried from there has always hit and brought me back wanting more. I’ve even gotten my best friend and boyfriend to eat there and they continuously have told me how much they love it. If this place ever goes I will be extremely disappointed and hungry.

Worst Thai food. Don’t go there. Rice was half cooked, too much of sauce in pad thai noodle. Noodle quality was very bad, mango chicken had too much of sauces to attract customers and taste was too bad. Please please don’t waste your money there.

Ruby Thai in Carolina Place Mall serves up really good Thai food. Had their shrimp fried rice, lemon pepper chicken, spicy bourbon chicken and Phad Thai – everything was fresh and tasty. Nice spot to grab lunch while shopping at the mall. Worth checking out if you’re in Pineville!

PLEASE CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE YOU EAT IT!
I ordered a Combo 3 meal $10.99 ($11.90 with tax), and when I opened the box, there was a black straight strand of hair that contaminated all of the food in the box that I just ordered and paid for. I have short curly dark brown hair (So for sure it is not mine), and I just opened the box (I never opened it previously until now). My camera is very bad so it is barely visible in the picture, but the strand of hair was so thin that I almost did not see it and was about to it!
If you eat from here, PLEASE check the box for hair before you pay and walk away. I just got it 30 minutes ago and will be turning around to return it when I am able to. I hope they know what to do in these situations and I pray that this has never happened before.
Update: I just tried to call them to let them know the situation, and I was immediately sent to a voicemail that was not even set up. I do not plan on eating there again and will just be sticking to Stir Fry 88, Sakru Japan, or WASABI Sushi Bar in the mall. Please be careful out there.

I’ve never had Thai food and was offered a sample. It was so good, I ordered the Bangkok chicken. It was so flavorful but not salty. I let my family who ordered from a diff restaurant try it; they loved it as well and said they wish they had ordered some. I would recommend and will be visiting again.

9$ with tax… average at best for mall food. Sauce taste like vegetable oil and sugar. Very unhealthy choice and not keto friendly.

Don’t listen to these people complaining. The food is top notch, especially for the venue and pricing. There’s a culture of complaining people that go to Carolina place, and they’re attracted to the lower prices at ruby Thai. Try the food for yourself and you’ll see.

I’ve been coming to this location for over five years. I had to get a refill tea, I didn’t mind paying the $.75 but they told me, if you don’t have cash it’s a , dollar minimum charge. Let me get this straight. You paid $14 for the lunch, thinking that you would at least get one refill. To boot I was drinking tea which cost next to nothing then you turn around and charge me a dollar? Great job guys, according to Restaurant magazine, it cost $35 to attract the customer. I will not come back now. How much do I spend with you a year, according to my numbers, calculator, I spent $350 a year. So since I shop with you over five years that would be a total $1700. I will take my business elsewhere now to people that appreciate me and do not ever charge me because I do not have the minimum amount to charge to get a refill. PS. Also, according to statistics for every one person who complains 10 more do not, and they do not eat at the location. In addition, it is also proven that when I restaurant no longer cares about their customer, normally they do not care about the way they are preparing food, just some last thoughts. Hope you get your act together start appreciate your customers.
