I was surprised to see an all black staff because the locations in New Orleans are staffed completely different. The entire staff was pleasant, efficient, and professional. Not only that but the three little pig’s omelette and toast was so good! Also, I ordered the French toast and it was good as well. If I’m ever back in BR, I will gladly visit again. I told my coworkers in BR about the location as well as let them taste the food. Please visit, you will not be disappointed. Definitely a 10/10 crew!

Much better experience than their New Orleans location. The layout and atmosphere of the Baton Rouge location is much better and more creative.

Demarcus and Destiny service was amazing. They took the time out to make sure we knew what was good to eat on the menu. They explained what came with the meal and if they thought it was a good choice . I got the French toast bites and I have to say they were amazing. I could eat them all the time the serving size was just right . We also order the flight and the watermelon mimosas that was my favorite. I also got the classic French toast and a side of eggs which I think was a great choice. Overall I’ll be back there again

I’ve been here 3 times now around 9am for brunch. The way it is either five minutes or immediately that early. Doesn’t hurt to make reservations though. The biscuits are great! It’s a taste of New Orleans.

My family and I went to the Ruby Slipper for our first time and was blown away by the great service and food that we experienced. By joining the wait list via their website allowed us to quickly get seated. We didn’t have to wait long for our food and everything tasted absolutely delicious!

We had the Mimosa Flight drinks, Shrimp & Grits, Candied bacon, seasonal stuffed beignet. We liked 2 of the 4 Mimosa, the candies bacon was delicious. The stuff beignet was still a little gummy and raw. The biscuits was dry and honey butter couldn’t save it. But the honey butter was really good!

Great place for breakfast. The chicken French toast with French toast bites was perfect. They also serve drinks. Service was great. Our host was friendly and informative about the menu!

We called ahead and got on the waitlist so only waited about 10 minutes before being seated. The vanilla spiced latte was awesome to start. I ordered the white chocolate pancakes and they were delicious. No need for the syrup they served with them; the white chocolate sauce was amazing! Will definitely be back here….if I’m ever in Baton Rouge again!!

I don’t think it was up to the hype. Food was ok. I order a cappuccino. Biscuit and gravy. Both of those were above average. I was given a menu with items they no longer carried and naturally that was what I wanted. I had the Eggs Blackstone which was a biscuit with tomato, bacon, egg, and a cheesy hollandaise type sauce. It was kind of boring. A friend had the white choice bread pudding pancakes. They were good, but super rich. Service was good.
